Summary

A child taken in the middle of the night from her bed while her parents slept with no signs of break-in has sent the city of Seattle into a panic. Seasoned Detectives Jim North and Kerry Martin are assigned to recover the missing girl, but the deeper Jim and Kerry follow the case, they’ll discover more questions than answers.

Our Stolen Pieces

Two detectives, each with their share of personal and professional baggage, are paired together under the watchful eye of a newly minted lieutenant.

The disappearance of two young girls at a slumber party prompts Detective Jim North and Kerry Martin to examine all facets of the girl's lives, and they discover the girl's parents are hiding more than they're letting on.

Great series

I am currently binging my way through this series, and yes I have listened out of order by mistake and this didn't help by having book 4 as the start and then going onto book 1.

The characters are great, flawed as normal and I liked the way in one of the books Kerry became more centre and the relationships are developing strongly.

The narration as always worked well - I would be interested to know why the narrators changed but as they are two of my favourite ones I didnt care and I got lost in the series.

Spoiler
As I am bingeing I am realising that Jim has been through so much - once at the age of 4 and now with this one. Well what a life it is amazing he has come through as well as he has.

Two young girls disappear twenty years apart starts this riveting thriller. Good characters and plotting with a very good narrator.
