Summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

Pulled out of the mirk

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend embarking on the the Wheel Of Time series from the start, unless you have a house to paint. Fortunately I did have a house to paint and that took me half way. It's not that the plot actually flounders but by that stage there are far too many descriptions of what folk are wearing from scene to scene. Poor Jordan. Brandon Sanderson has done an excellent job of pulling it together. I especially appreciated the humor in Matt's narrative. So there was a sense of loss as well as relief there when it finished. I don't regret it.

A fitting end to a beloved series

it's taken years to get here, but it was worth it. one of the best stories I've read. thoroughly enjoyed it, I only wish the late Robert Jordon was around for its conclusion.

Epic from start to finish

This book is a masterwork. It is the culmination of a true epic. I cried and I cried and I laughed and it was joyous. Mr Jordans vision in its finality brought me to tears in a way I didn't expect.
Death is lighter than a feather. Rest in Peace, Robert Jordan.

The end of the saga

This saga has long been a favourite of mine and after the untimely death of Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson took up the story with the help of notes and his late wife finished the epic tale off. This final book follows the story to its conclusion with Rand, Matt & Perrin superb story, excellent voices as always with the audiobook and audible this (and the rest of the series) are without question unmissable.

fantastic end to the series

despite being written by someone else, the story flows just as well as all the others. it's good that Robert Jordan's work was completed by someone who had followed the story from start to his passing and helped it reach its perfect conclusion
