Summary
She introduces him to peace; he introduces her to passion.
Quill Chabon: A bear shifter who had been trapped in a shifter camp for years and released when they became illegal. On the outside, he’s recovered. On the inside, he’s still badly hurt.
Dawn Wolf: She is skittish of humans and human traditions, and doesn’t really trust anyone but her brothers and their partners. She is good at hiding in plain sight. Quill is given the mission of recruiting her. But Dawn’s emotional connection to the world, to her shifted form, to the natural world, opens up something inside him that he didn’t know existed. He’s drawn to her delicate nature, like a flower that shouldn’t be picked. But all is not what it seems, and Quill will be forced to make some hard choices.
A fight for love, and a fight for survival!
This is the sixth book in the Forbidden Shifters series, but can also be listened to as a stand-alone. No cliff-hangers. Happily ever after guaranteed.

Fantastic Shifter Romance!
A Mate for Quill is the sixth and final book in the Forbidden Shifters Series; it's a wonderfully written and enjoyable paranormal shifter romance. Selena Scott is super talented with an impressive imagination; her worldbuilding, storyline, and characters are creative and fascinating. I love how she took a chance with Quill's character, stepping out of the traditional hero's box. Quill, a bear shifter, is complex and flawed with deceitful intent. I adored Dawn; despite her skittishness and vulnerabilities, she wasn't weak, demonstrating great inner strength and loyalty. She led Quill to self-discovery, teaching him the meaning and significance of love. In my opinion, Quill redeemed himself; he fell in love and was totally protective of Dawn. The emotional bond, connection, and chemistry between them were genuine and well portrayed. Their story was simply fantastic; I enjoyed every minute of it.
The storyline is well-paced, adventurous, and incredibly engaging, wrapped in intrigue, schemes, secrets, betrayal, danger, suspense, action, drama, and steam. The twists and turns were surprising and unexpected; I kept wondering what was next. The secret shifter experiments and programs, a corrupt protagonist, sinister intentions, and underlying threat added more unpredictability and excitement to the story. Each story in the series is unique, refreshing, and tied into the central plot. Personally, I enjoyed listening to the books in order, but it's not suggested.
Another stellar performance by Craig A. Hart. His depiction of Quill and Dawn's personalities, emotions, and chemistry was perfect. He brought Scott's words to life and made the story even more engaging. A Mate for Quill was a marvellous, entertaining, and highly enjoyable listen, one I'm strongly recommending.
