About this listen
Jackson is aggressive, confrontational and often volatile. His mother, Kayla, is crippled with grief after tragically losing her husband and eldest son. Struggling to cope, she puts Jackson into foster care.
Cathy, his carer, encourages Jackson to talk about what has happened to his family, but he just won’t engage. His actions continue to test and worry everyone.
Then, in a dramatic turn of events, the true reason for Jackson’s behaviour comes to light …

I do love Cathy's books. Used to read them myself but now find audio works better as can listen and do housework. Denica narrates well as always. Now off to choose my next cathy book. Hope Jackson and his family are doing well.

Excellent !!!
Yet again another fantastic book. its detailed so well but without it being boring. i felt like you could really visualize the story as if i had seen things happen. Amazing account of Jackson and Tilly 's time with Cathy and how Cathy helps them . A very sad ending which i won't put in case someone hasnt read itt yet. Can't wait for next book.

Another fantastic read
As usua cathy glass tells her story with such heartfelt words. The story is Jackson is so sad but he is so lucky to have been placed with cathy and her family. And what I loved about this book is that his teacher plays a big part in helping him. Not enough credit goes to these people on childrens loves. They not only teach but they can also be such a massive help.
Cathy you really are an outstanding woman and your family are incredible. Can’t wait for you next book.

I absolutely love the books and naration. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every one. Every parent should have a clone of Cathy to offer guidance and support. She truly is an inspiration.
