great, but just the introduction

this is the Intro of the Foreign Affairs: Lessons From A Decade Of War article.
a quick look-back on the US involvement in the Middle East through a list of a few one-liner strategies. it's interesting, but very short, a bit strange just like this, but the rest of the article is also available.
