About this listen
I might be a famous rock star, but inside Fork Lick, NY, my biggest fan is a Merino sheep named Baabara.
I’ve got a hundred reasons why I’ve avoided my family since graduating high school and never looked back – but when my big sis Colleen makes me an uncle times two, I need to meet her little bacon bits. It’s supposed to be an easy breezy visit – rock the babies, quality time with the sheep, and a nice family argument or three. Then I can get back to rescuing my musical career from the dumpster fire I found it in.
Instead, I’m roped into headlining a Fork Lick Festival to save my family’s farm, and conned into sharing a house with bossy Bella Keegan, the famous event planner who I’ve been butting heads with since my first album topped the charts five years ago.
Her attitude is louder than my Fender guitar, and she’s got way too many opinions about what I’m supposed to do about this career crisis I’ve been hiding from everyone outside the industry. The longer I spend in this old farmhouse with Bella, the more the lines blur. Until one night, everything changes.
Suddenly, we’ve got a decision to make.
And no matter which way we write the lyrics, one of us is facing a major fork in the road.
Join authors Lainey Davis, Liz Alden, Karen Grey, Erin Mallon, and Ember Leigh as they share un-baa-lievable tales of love, laughter, and sexy shenanigans, all set in the bucolic fictional town of Fork Lick, New York. Meddling grandmas, nosy neighbors, and boinking abound in these steamy romantic comedies.

Sweet
I absolutely adored Jaxon, he is a sweetheart who loves his music, his family and his home.
He is struggling with his label, and we get to see how this affects his mental health.
Bella was not what he was expecting when he came home to stay with Gran, but it might just be the one thing he needs.
This was an emotional and angst filled romance, opposites attract, semi second chance. Once they are both able to break through barriers their friendship and romance grows.
I love how encouraging Bella is for Jaxon, and how she’s the one standing up for him and fighting for people to see him for who and what he is.
There was chemistry, passion, banter & spice.
This was a great ending for the Bedd family.
The narration was absolutely on point.

A Fork in the Road
ALC Audiobook Review

A Fork in the Road is the fifth book in the Farm 2 Forking series. This is Jackson Bed’s story. Jackson is the youngest, black sheep of the family. He is a famous rockstar now. His family assumed he would be able to help pay the farm debt. However, he signed his contract with his label when he was 20years old and the label took advantage of his lack of contract knowledge. The label owned 90% of his earnings and all of his songs for 5 years. Bella was part of Bacon’s PR team while opening his restaurant. She now was working on the strawberry Jam to help the farm. Jackson and Bella had crossed paths before at different events and venues. She thought Jackson was the standard stuck up, party guy, rockstar. She learned quickly that he was so much more of a down to earth, sweet guy. I really loved this series.
Erin Mallon and Alastair Haynesbridge did a fantastic job narrating this series.

This is the fifth book in the Farm 2 Forking series, a small town romantic comedy. This is a multi-author series. Jackson and Bella's story is fun, sweet, and heartwarming. Alastair Haynesbridge and Erin Mallon did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I highly recommend this series. I enjoyed it!

Loved this series! Great conclusion!
The rockstar. The one who should be able to clear the debt on the farm left by his grandfather with no problem. But what his family doesn't know is money isn't flowing. Jackson is back in town, ready to help, he just needs a way around things to be able to use his celebrity and not anger his label. Bella is the event planner. Yes, she is taken with Jackson, but she isn't going to take the risk with her heart. But fate has other plans. This series has been a pleasure, with it's humor, it's relevant issues, and a family that pulls together. And Jackson with Bella is the perfect ending. And the star of the series, Baabara! That sheep is the glue with Gran. Loved this installment and the entire series!
Erin Mallon and Alastair Haynesbridge finish out the series with a couple that has witty banter and incredible chemistry. These two have kept the voices of the entire family flowing throughout the series, making me feel like a part of it all. I enjoyed this narration team and their talent shines through.

Jackson & Bella
Jackson’s story was just as good as his siblings: funny, empowering, smexy and full of small town shenanigans and loads of meddling relatives. Bella was a great character: strong and career oriented with a great sense of right or wrong. Jackson’s secrets are surfacing and with Bella’s help he turns his life around. Loved it!!
Of course the narrators were amazing. Baarbra will forever be a favourite word!
