Two tow trucks, a retired teacher, and a showstopping snowstorm conspire to make this a very special Captain's Point Christmas Eve indeed. Snapshots of a special Christmas Eve
It is a little weird listening to a Christmas romance during the summer months but this story was filled with all the wonders of Christmas that I couldn't help being delightfully filled with Christmas spirit!
The story takes place on Christmas Eve when almost everyone is looking forward to the special evening service at church. It looks like it may be a white Christmas which can be wonderful yet hazardous for travellers. The plot structure consists of snapshots of the mundane and not so mundane moments with loved ones as they spend time together. But best of all, the characters lives touch each others, some strangers and others friends, in the spirit of Christmas giving and gratitude.
This book is delightful. It is short but brimming with the feel-good factor. It is probably a wonderful book for the busy Christmas season but it is equally wonderful otherwise as well!
