Summary

A Christmassy tale of Fairy Faye and Alfie the Elf, who come to a busy town centre on Christmas Eve to see the festivities. The Fairy has been given a magic wand and can make three wishes for herself and the Elf, but she soon finds she needs to use these wishes to help others, and to try to save Christmas in the town from a wicked Witch, who wants to spoil Christmas for everyone. Will the Witch succeed, or will Faye and Alfie foil her wicked plans?

A Christmas treat

This is a colourful and imaginative story, full of delightful, though some quite scary, characters. There is a good deal of drama, and the warm friendship between Faye and Alfie captures well the spirit of Christmas and how helping others can bring magical rewards. The story is expressively narrated.
