About this listen
"I need you to teach me how to be gay."
Logan Moore is finally ready to come out of the closet. His days of playing football are far behind him, he has graduated from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), and his bakery, Moore Delicious, is finally in the black. Although he spends more time talking to his cats than he does people, he technically has time for a social life now that he has hired two new employees. In short, Logan is completely out of excuses to stay in the closet, where it is warm and cozy and he never has to worry about how to dress, what to say, or who is watching. So he turns to his older brother's friend for guidance. And if that friend just happens to be his longtime crush and if one thing might lead to another...well, that would just be icing on the cake.
Chance Blevins is a math geek through and through, who is more than happy to spend his nights curled up with his dog, Luna. With a few toxic relationships in his past, Chance contents himself with friends with benefits and fantasies involving his best friend's very straight soon-to-be brother-in-law, Logan. Because of a verbal slip the day they met and a teasingly demanded vow of secrecy, he believes that Logan actually works for the CIA, making him even further out of his league. When Logan comes to him for help with what he can only assume is a cover identity, he is more than happy to oblige.
A Chance for Moore is a quirky friends-to-lovers, first-time gay romance between two sexy, pet-loving geeks. It has a happily ever after ending as well as a gratuitous car chase, obscene bachelorette party pastries, grown men dressing their "furbabies" in ridiculous hats, and truly terrible math-based innuendo.

An amazing story with brilliant narration
This series is one of my favourites and I've been excited to listen to it on audio.
Humour, love, family and friends. Everything is included in this story. The characters are fully established in their world. We are given enough history with all of them to make us feel comfortable fully immersed in their world.
A new narrator is always a chance but what a great listen Sean made this!
He gives each character their own voice filled with emotion, inflection and brings them completely to life. Definitely enhances the experience of the story and cannot wait to start on book two!

After listening to this I still want Moore
Would you consider the audio edition of A Chance for Moore to be better than the print version?
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Sean Lenhart and found myself more involved than with the print version. He made Chance more appealing to me.
What does Sean Lenhart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I thought Sean did a great job of bringing the characters to life in a way that print version didn't quite match for me.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I mainly listen to audiobooks during my commute but I couldn't wait for the next chapter!
Any additional comments?
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the author for an honest review and all opinions expressed are my own. I had already read the Kindle version of this book but found I enjoyed the audiobook more and I can't wait to listen to the next one in the series.

Love it
I adored this book when I first read it and it was excellent in audio format! It’s just so god damn funny! Sean Lenhart is not a narrator I was previously familiar with but I just loved his voice right from page 1 and his narration style was wonderful.
The actual storyline was not particularly original on paper. Logan Moore who used to play football and was a typical jock in college until an injury led him to decide to go to culinary school instead and Chance Blevins his older brothers fiancés best friend have had a crush on each other for 5 years and when Logan decides to come out of the closet he enlists the help of Chance. However, what made this book truly stand out was how beautifully it was written and how well this translated in to audio and how laugh out loud funny it was throughout.
I just loved Chance and Logan, dual POV really helped in audio to show how they felt about each other and their chemistry was just so believable. There were several elements that could have been irritating such as Chance believing Logan was a spy due to a misunderstanding when they met whereby he believed Logan to be in the CIA when he in fact went to the Culinary Institute of America and a pretty major stalker issue but both were not dragged out or filled with unnecessary misunderstanding or angst.
There were times when I just wanted to bang both of their heads together and I wished they would just communicate better but it all added to the realism and believability. The secondary characters in this book were fantastic, there were loads of them but they were so well developed and each one added another layer to this story. Sean Lenhart seamlessly switched his voice between the many characters in this book which made it really immersive.
I loved it when Chance and Logan 'geeked out' and their text messages to each other were down right hilarious. I loved their pets and that one of their friends was crocheting head pieces for them. The epilogue was lovely, I love it when it is 5 years down the line and not just a few weeks or months so you get to see how their lives have truly worked out.
Cannot wait to listen to the next book in this series!

Had me giggling!
This book definitely had me laughing out loud, some of the antics Logan and chase get up to cracked me up! Lots of daft misunderstandings that we, the listener, get to fully understand due to the dual POV. An enjoyable book with very likeable MC's and a whole host of supporting characters that deserve their own story. Nothing too angsty so great for a long car journey - I loved Logan and was rooting for him throughout the story.
I liked Sean Lenhart's narration, even if the voices of the female characters grated a bit! His voices for the characters were very different so no mix ups.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

A good book. Very funny in parts. It actually had me laughing out loud. Definitely worth listening to. I'd not come across Sean Lenhart as a narrator before, but he was very good. I'd definitely listen to him again. It was a lovely, near angst free, feelgood story.

Take a Chance on this book
I loved this story. I hadn't read the book before listening to the audiobook, and I'm glad I didn't because I couldn't have done justice to Sean Lenhart's version. There are so many characters in this novel and Sean manages to makes them all individual and he brings to life all the fun moments. There is a lot of heart and lightness in this book and I loved listening to Logan and Chance's story come to life. A definite must read/listen.
