About this listen
It’s now six months since the events of ‘A Question of Trust’...
Kate and Naz are struggling.
Jamila is avoiding Peter.
Saskia is surprising everyone by making a success of Waltham Lodge.
And Jaiden is on the trail of a stolen Art Deco figurine. Her search will lead her through the streets of London. Into the dark secrets of suburbia. Beyond the night time city and the people who inhabit it. And to the limits of her own capacity to forgive.
A Betrayal is the third novel in Jane Retzig’s Wrong Woman series.

The next installment in an excellent series
What made the experience of listening to A Betrayal the most enjoyable?
The characters in this series feel real and familiar. It’s like catching up with old friends. At the same time the plot twists constantly take you by surprise and keep you listening.
What did you like best about this story?
The writing is wonderful. The characters are varied and and absolutely convincing, with believable strengths and flaws. The settings are well drawn and help you to envisage the action.
What about Anne Browne’s performance did you like?
This is a very accomplished performance. Anne brings the voices of the various characters to life so effectively that you think you’re in the room with them.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely. On two occasions I was listening in the car and sat in the car park at my destination to get to the end of the chapter.
Any additional comments?
I can’t wait for the next installment. There were signs at the end of much more intrigue to follow.
