Meanwhile, thoughts of Sheriff “Goat” Jones make Stella blush and wonder where, and with whom, she will spend her fifty-first birthday.

Unfinished, good narrator, story a bit dull

I've given up on this and will be sending back. Not for me. The narrator was good but the story really hasn't held my interest.
