Summary
Henry Bins is only awake one hour a day.
Can you imagine only being awake for one hour each day? Can you imagine having to cram your entire existence into sixty measly minutes? Two minutes to shower. Three minutes to eat. Five minutes to watch TV. And in that 3600 seconds you have awake, imagine that you have to figure out:
- Who murdered the woman across the street? (You suspect it was the President of the United States, but can you prove it?)
- Why did your mom abandoned you when you were six years old? (Was it because she worked for the CIA? Or was it because of your condition?)
- What caused your strange condition where you wake up at exactly 3:00 a.m. then fall asleep exactly an hour later, then sleep for twenty-three hours? (Were you experimented on? If so, by who?)
- And most importantly, what is Project Sandman?
Welcome to Henry Bins’s life.

Silly but really enjoyable
Whether this collection of books is your cup of tea or not you have to credit this author with an amazing imagination. Very unusual and strangely compelling to listen to and one of my favourite narrators

Hilarious (in a good way!)
The idea is so clever but the genius is the pets who give a real heart to the otherwise not too taxing story lines. The narration is brilliant & lifts these books another level. If you need an easy listen with comedy sprinkles this is a total winner.

Quirky
I really enjoyed listening to this book, the narrator was good and I found the conversations that the main character had with his cat hilarious. It was an interesting storyline too. Put your tongue in your cheek and give it a go!

Loved it! One of the best freebies on Audible, don’t hesitate, get it!
Really enjoyable and interesting books. I’d say it’s in the thriller category. Well paced, good storyline and well-read. You do have to go with the slightly ‘supernatural’ aspect of someone only being able to be awake for and hour every day, but it’s a great book/series.

Would have used a credit for this
Wasn’t sure about the plot initially and assumed the series would be about how Henry would eventually be awake like a normal person but how wrong was I! Perhaps the plots are a bit far fetched but feasible (at a push), the humour throughout is what keeps you engaged and the animals - Lassie the cat, Murdock the giant but loveable dog and kitten Archie….so funny and are the hook throughout. At one point I was in tears when i thought it was game over for Lassie and eskimo boy Opik…how sad am I! Maybe I missed a trick or big clue about the ending of book 5 which came sort of out of nowhere so will be happy to use a credit for book 6 to see whwre that lands! I also noted that Kindle have ‘The Lassie Files: Four Ridiculously Silly Stories’ so another to add to the wish list. Narrator was brilliant too.

Nick Pirog just writes a great story
I love this series it weird but very entertaining I cannot wait until the next one comes out. I found Nick as a writer when I found the Thomas Prescott series in the plus catalog and he is now one of my favourites. Listen to this and it will entertain you for hours.

Something different
Didn’t believe I would get hooked but I did.had to listen to it without a break. Intriguing, weird but really got into the story. Helped by excellent narration ‘. Just purchased the final book. You won’t regret listening to this. I’ve added all the authors others titles to my wish list

Really funny story
This has a great series of stories. I love the characters. The best bits are when he speaks to his cat. So funny. 🐱

Entertaining
I really liked this, it's like light entertainment with likable characters that's not too in depth.
