Exciting read
A young girl sold by her father to a handsome but terrifying man, a mob boss. As she try’s to come to terms with her father’s betrayal she also realises that she like the man but does she love him him or is it fear. Excellent story looking forward reading next in this series.

A very good Mafia story!

Good listen
I did enjoy this book but I got a little annoyed by the woman, her constant lack of not listening and believing in her father even though he was mafia. Julian however I loved his character he was strong and in charge just as you would expect. I do recommend a read or listen

women narrator really irritated me
im very sorry I could not enjoy this at all the women narrator just annoyed me so much I don't understand why she stopped inbetween of saying something like she was struggling to read what was on. the page the man narrator was perfect just couldn't finish it because of the women one

The heroine seems like brainless Dumbo.
Who will in their right mind will trust a man who bought her, kept her locked up in the room, she has no rights, made her drees like a hooker and bargain with other men to sell her off. After all that she went crawling back to him.
Just keep in the mind that her father, who she trusted and loved all her life, sold her off, out of the blue one day.
According to me this woman has no self-respect and honour.

It's natural for us not to trust anyone especially ,when our trust has been broken by the person we loved.
No woman in their right mind would fall in love with the man like Julian.
