About this listen

A brand new stand-alone adventure for the 10th Doctor, which also forms part of the Time Lord Victorious story arc, read by Jacob Dudman.

The Doctor travels with Brian, the Ood assassin, to the planet Magnox, one of the greatest receptacles of knowledge the universe will ever know. The Doctor needs to ask a vital question, but the answer is grade-one classified! In order to gain an audience with the Minds of Magnox themselves he must take a dangerous test. Is he smart enough to get through?

Meanwhile, Brian gets involved with the criminal fraternity and is given a job: to assassinate the Minds of Magnox. However, others also have the planet within their sights....

Jacob Dudman reads this exclusive audio adventure by Darren Jones, and this edition also features a short coda to the story.

Time Lord Victorious is a multi-platform Doctor Who event launching in Autumn 2020. It will tell a new and untold story, set within the Dark Times at the start of the universe, when even the Eternals were young. Following several Doctors across space and time as they defend their home planet from a terrible race, this is a story like no other.

The story will feature the eighth, ninth and 10th Doctors, companion Rose Tyler and monsters including the Daleks and the Ood.

Good story but a tad short

Good story with sound effects and the Dr Who theme tune, but frustratingly short lived.

Engaging with a superlative performance

Immersive and brilliantly narrated. Far too short, being the most recursive thought. Quickly recognisable 10th and 11th Doctors brought to life vocally.

Brilliant !!!! Narrator is one of the best yet

This has got to be one of the best Doctor Who stories I have heard. The Narrator, Jacob Dudman is fabulous and I look forward to more audible books read by him. The story was great and had me hooked all the way to the end. Darren Jones has written an excellent story, with a bit of humour as you would expect with a good Doctor Who book. I would definitely recommend this even tho it is only an hours and 13 mins, I personally will listen to this one again and again. And have done.

More Jacob Dudman please.

Best performance of Doctors 10 and 11 ever. I almost prefer Jacobs versions to David Tennant and Matt Smith!
A whole collection of Dudman doing 10 and 11 and maybe with Nicholas Briggs’s doing 9 would be my idea of Who heaven.

One of the best Doctor Who stories to date

Such an amazing story to continue the Time Lord Victorious arc. The impressions were on point, truly felt like David Tennant himself was apart of this story!
