Summary
Random House presents the audiobook edition of Never Tell by Lisa Gardner, read by Regina Reagan.
The international number one bestselling author
Chosen as one of Amazon's Best Thrillers and Mysteries of 2019
One death might be an accident.
Two deaths looks like murder.
A man is shot dead in his own home, and his pregnant wife, Evie, is found with the gun in her hands.
Detective D.D. Warren instantly recognises her. Sixteen years ago, Evie also shot her own father. That killing was ruled an accident.
D.D. doesn’t believe in coincidences. But this case isn’t as open and shut as it first appears, and her job is to discover the truth.
Evie might be a victim.
Or she might be about to get away with murder again.

A great story for a great price whilst on deal
Intriguing book although I wasn't too fond of the ending. Never tells story pulls you in more and more with the 3 protagonists telling there story as they see it. this gives more insight to the story and allows the listener to gather there thoughts from 3 perspectives.

A brilliant ‘who done it’
This is my first Lisa Gardner book and it certainly will not be the last. It was a great story which had strong characters and lots of twists and turns. I read lots of reviews that give the story line but I suggest, with this book, just give it go, you will not be disappointed!

Lots of twists
Great story unravelling 16 years of mid truths, lies, hidden secrets
Thought I'd be annoyed at why the immediate reason of the shooting wasn't clear, (surely the police investigation would get straight to it?) however, the way the story here and developed and dipped into the past kept me wondering who? why?, how? for much longer than I thought possible.
The ending when it comes, doesn't disappoint.

Keeps you guessing and interested
3 women with individual histories that would make most of us go running for the hills but a story to keep us hooked. I was totally absorbed and felt ended too soon.

Loved the narrator and descriptiveness of this book
I often find it difficult to listen to books with American narrator because with crime thrillers, the narrator usually sounds like a demonic “Elliot Ness” but this lady is a wonderful narrator and the storyline keeps you guessing right to the last few chapters. I’m a fan of this genre and this book is descriptive and well written. Whilst not the style that I would usually listen to, I enjoyed it and will be listening to another from this author.
