THE PHENOMENAL INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER - 1 MILLION COPIES SOLD.

Transform your life with tiny changes in behaviour, starting now.

People think that when you want to change your life, you need to think big. But world-renowned habits expert James Clear has discovered another way. He knows that real change comes from the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions: doing two push-ups a day, waking up five minutes early, or holding a single short phone call.

He calls them atomic habits.

In this ground-breaking book, Clears reveals exactly how these minuscule changes can grow into such life-altering outcomes. He uncovers a handful of simple life hacks (the forgotten art of Habit Stacking, the unexpected power of the Two Minute Rule, or the trick to entering the Goldilocks Zone), and delves into cutting-edge psychology and neuroscience to explain why they matter. Along the way, he tells inspiring stories of Olympic gold medalists, leading CEOs, and distinguished scientists who have used the science of tiny habits to stay productive, motivated, and happy.

These small changes will have a revolutionary effect on your career, your relationships, and your life.

Editor reviews

James Clear’s best seller Atomic Habits sets out to prove that improving your life doesn’t have to mean making enormous changes. You can make real, important changes with small alterations in your routine—waking up five minutes early, or doing two push-ups a day. In fact, Clear states that there are only 10 simple steps you need to take in order to create remarkable change in your life.

Clear himself narrates the book and as a frequent podcaster and a guest on countless talk shows, his compelling voice makes his life lessons easy to digest. The tips and methods you’ll hear are paired with real life stories of Olympic athletes, business bigwigs and leading scientists, demonstrating how Clear’s advice has been put into action by real people — and how you can apply these methods to improve your own day-to-day.

Very practical guide

The advice in this book is clear, concise and practical. Build the habits you've always wanted by following the advice herein, which is doled out in short bitesize chapters, each with its own summary. Clear reads his own book quite well so I can recommend the Audible version.

Exhaustive and methodical

I love James Clear’s narration in Audible and down-to-detail writing in this book. The lessons he tried to tell is cliche, but the practical and systematic approach he ironed out is marvelous. Cue-craving-response-reward, make it obvious-make it attractive-make it easy-make it satisfying. I will give it a shot in my life in my pursuit of interpreting training.

HELPED ME TO CREATE NEW HABITS FOR NEW INCOME.

Really love this book!! This is something else about the lesson in this book sim and yes he's right. Small things help to build big things.

Many times the authors ask to go check his website because there is some picture/sheet on the book which he refers too. Best way to listen is also have a copy of his book or just check later his website with this audiobook. I don't see he's spamming my email at all. I don't know why people complaining about this. When you see the media, you'll understand more! SIMPLE book for everyone to understand.

The 1% improvement is something else. Never thought of this! WOW!!
Super highly recommended!

Atomic Habits.com/

I liked the book but what I’ll remember the most from listening to this book is every other sentence James saying you can check this out/download this at Atomic Habits.com/. The constant selling/brainwashing of his website tainted the book immensely.

Smart and applicable with brevity and entertainment

Fantastic listen. I second the point about reading out full websites and newsletter plugs, could do without those but the book is interesting, evidence based, entertaining and just the right length. I’ll be listening again soon and I’m already applying these techniques.

Very clear and easy to implement.

Like most people, I have habits that I'd like to stop and new ones that I'd like to start, and this book has already helped me with one of each.

The strategies are quite simple and the examples and reasoning behind them explained well. Habit stacking in particular has been very useful for me.

There aren't too many long stories, which if you listen to some non-fiction books more than once can become tiresome, and I like the author's voice - precise, clear and moves along at a good pace.
