excellent run through of current cosmology
I was very pleased to be reading this as the 2020 Nobel prize in physics was announced - it made the book seem so very topical.
Katie does a great job explaining the big bang theory and then taking us through what has been discovered and what that means for cosmology in the past 30 years or so. there is a good balance between evidence (experiments and observations) what that means for theory.
I really enjoyed this book.

Great intro into the end of, well, Everything
A great narrative of complex physics ideas. Religions could even imagine such endings, they are too localised to out speck of dust Earth. The universe is bigger and far more spectacular

An insight into space continuum for the N00b
What I loved about this audiobook was the simple way (it’s still realllyyyy hard to get your head around it and took me a couple of relistens) Katie takes you through some basic principles of space.
She gives you enough substance to bounce off and explore more with a great way of creating analogies to further understand some concepts of space.
It was perfect for me because I know nada and now I know a little more than I did.
What a legend! X

A Fantastic Reflection.
Reflecting on our own world and the mechanics of its existence, Katie Mack handles the subject matter with grace and precision. An existential topic put into words and explained thoroughly to the point that anyone could read it, and draw a conclusion of their own.

Awesome!
As always, every time I read about the idea of time I have to go through it more than once, and it was no exception for this book, had to re-listen few chapters but i loved it. No offence to Gabra Zackman, the narration was beautiful, but having listened to Katie narrate her astro-poem "Disorientation" a while back, I was so so hoping to hear her voice through out the book.
All in all, a great listen!
