Summary

大学院を卒業後、新卒で入社した会社を春指みなとは九ヶ月で辞めた。所属していた総務二課は、社員の意識向上と企業風土の改善を標榜していたが、朝礼で発表された社員の「気づき」を文字に起こし、社員の意識調査のアンケートを「正の字」で集計するという日々の仕事は、不要で無意味に感じられた。部署の飲み会、上司への気遣い、上辺だけの人間関係──あらゆることに限界が来たとき、職場のトイレから出られなくなったのだ。
　退職からひと月経っても次の仕事を探せないでいる中、みなとは立ち寄った公園の草むらに埋もれた郵便箱を見つける。中には、手紙が一通入っていた。
「この手紙を手に取った人へ」──その手紙に返事を書いたことがきっかけで、みなとと高校2年生の森本飛鳥の「郵便箱」を介した文通が始まった。
　無職のみなとと不登校の飛鳥。それぞれの事情を話しながら「文通」を「仕事」にすることを考えついたふたりは、クラウドファンディングに挑戦する。
