Susan Sellers is an author, editor, translator and novelist. Her novel, "Vanessa and Virginia", about the intense relationship between sisters Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell, was translated into seventeen languages, turned into an audiobook, and adapted for the stage. She won the Canongate Prize for New Writing in 2002 and published her second novel, "Given the Choice", in 2013. Her non-fiction books include "Language and Sexual Difference", "Hélène Cixous", "Myth and Fairy Tale in Contemporary Fiction", "The History of Feminist Literary Criticism" and "The Cambridge Companion to Virginia Woolf". She is Professor of English at St Andrews University in Scotland.
