Susan Schindehette, a native of Detroit, is a 32-year veteran of Time Inc., where most lately she was a senior human-interest writer at People magazine in New York, writing for a weekly audience of 43 million. She is the co-author of two New York Times bestsellers—Tears of Rage: From Grieving Father to Crusader for Justice, The Untold Story of the Adam Walsh Case (Pocket 2003), and Between Good and Evil: A Master Profiler's Hunt for Society's Most Violent Predators (Warner 2005). An inveterate storyteller, Schindehette was inspired by the people she met in travels through Bosnia, Guatemala, Turkey and remote northern Pakistan to found the global storytelling portal MiWorld.com, a member of the 2009 Clinton Global Initiative, now in beta at http://www.miworld.com/.
