Shira Nayman is a writer and psychologist/consultant. She also teaches literature and fiction writing. She is recipient of three grants from The Australia Council for the Arts, the "Cape Branch Award for an Emerging Woman Writer," a MacDowell Fellow, and an upcoming Fellow at The Erik Erikson Institute. She is the author of five books, and has published in The Atlantic Magazine, The Georgia Review, The New England Review, Boulevard, Confrontation, and other magazines and journals. Born in South Africa, she grew up in Australia, has lived in Spain, Colombia, Mexico and France, and currently lives in Brooklyn, If you have a book club and would like to meet with the author please contact Shira at her website.
