Nina Pick is a somatic practitioner who brings a trauma-informed, heart-centered, and attachment-based approach to her work with individuals and couples. She received an MA in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, an MA in comparative literature from UC Berkeley, and ordination from Kohenet. She has additional training in a range of modalities, including Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Somatic Attachment Therapy, NeuroAffective Touch, and Reiki. Her books include The Mind-Body Guide to the Twelve Steps; a children’s book, Tall Oak and Small Owl; a poetry book, At the Edge of the Dirac Sea; and The Gardener Says, a collection of quotes about gardening. She lives in Massachusetts, where she enjoys hiking, dancing, and spending time with her cat. In recovery since 2009, she did sober karaoke for the first time last Sunday, and it was awesome.
