Nadia Mendoza grew up feeling ‘different’. Losing herself in books, and their alternate worlds, became her safe space. A place where she could escape and forget her worries! Nadz’s love of writing led her to journalism, embarking on a career as a showbiz reporter (and later, editor) for the majority of the UK's best-selling newspapers, covering red carpet premieres, interviewing A-listers, and living in LA. She is also founder of The Self-Esteem Team, an organisation that delivers mental health workshops in schools across the country, which she started as she didn’t want any other young person to struggle growing up like she did.
