Leslie Lehr is the prize-winning author of "A Boob's Life: How American's Obsession Shaped Me... and You." Called a Must-read by Good Morning America, People Magazine, Glamour, and Entertainment Tonight, Salma Hayek's Ventanarosa Productions is developing it as a comedy series for HBO Max. Lehr's novels include What A Mother Knows, Wife Goes On, and, 66 Laps. She wrote the screenplay for the romantic thriller, Heartless, and three humorous parenting books including, Welcome to Club Mom.
Katie Couric narrated Lehr's New York Times Modern Love essay on NPR. Other essays have appeared in the infamous Mommy Wars, Arianna Huffington's On Becoming Fearless, The Honeymoon's Over, and Now Write.
Leslie is the Novel Consultant for Truby's Writers Studio, a member of PEN, The Authors Guild, WGA, and Women In Film, and taught for the Writer's Program at UCLA. She won a student Emmy and earned a B.A. at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and an MFA from Antioch. She is a mom, a breast cancer survivor, and lives with her husband John Truby, and two rescue cats, in Southern California.
