Lerato is a food writer, TV presenter, and leading voice in African cuisine. She set up popular, immersive supper clubs and cookery classes across the country, sharing the vibrant flavours of Africa far and wide. Her unique style of effortlessly marrying cultures has attracted food lovers and celebrity chefs as guests at her feasts. Growing up in both West Africa and the UK, having travelled around the continent, Lerato’s unique perspective can be seen in her approach to cooking. With big and bold flavours, celebrating nostalgic traditional dishes she grew up with, alongside contemporary and inventive recipes. Lerato’s feasts and cookery classes have been featured across various media on the BBC, BBC Good Food, The Guardian, The Financial Times, Time Out, Daily Mail, GQ, The Guardian, The Evening Standard, Vice, Coast Magazine and more. Lerato lives by the English seaside in Sussex, and when not travelling, she creates vibrant recipes for various media and brands.
