JULIET ESCORIA is the author of the story collection, You Are the Snake (Soft Skull, June 2024), Witch Hunt & Black Cloud: New and Collected Works (CLASH Books, 2023), and the novel, Juliet the Maniac (Melville House, 2019), which was shortlisted for the VCU First Novelist Prize and named a best book of 2019 by NPR, the Los Angeles Times, Nylon Magazine, and others. She is the recipient of a residency from The Giancarlo DiTrapano Foundation for the Arts, and her work has been translated into many languages. She was born in Australia, raised in San Diego, and currently lives in West Virginia.
