I grew up in Somerset near Glastonbury and came to Sherborne when I was 15 to go to school here. I was at Yeovil College and Plymouth University and came home to work for 18 months in Dorchester for the NHS, office life wasn't for me and I happily settled in to working as a bank support worker and after 6 years I decided to work in charity shops on the till and worked for Oxfam, Sue Ryder and the British Red Cross. After an on Christmas Eve incident in 2015 I wrote my first book the Scritch and during the Pandemic the Barnacles. In 2019 I travelled to Iceland with a friend and was inspired by our pets the Degus Victoria and Skylark and the character of his father Terence White as well as my other friend's father Derek Catchpole. I live in Dorset, love dogs and degus and watching England Rugby and Football on tv. I go to coffee shops and wrote Skylark and the Dragon in the Bean Shot in Sherborne. I speak French and have been teaching a friend to speak it during the pandemic.
