Besides the fiction and nonfiction works she’s been translating, Eriko has been translating several Japanese light novel series distributed globally by Yen Press and Hachette, while also exploring original fiction that delves into the evocative realms of magical realism and romantic suspense, often looking at the profound bond between humans and animals, a subject she studies daily under the watchful eyes of her Assistant-slash-Bosses—Kacchan, a Border Collie mix, and Keisuke, an English Cocker Spaniel who always seems to be hungry.
