Born and raised in New York City, Christopher Sorrentino lived in Northern California for a dozen years in the '80s and '90s, and now lives in Brooklyn with his family. His memoir, NOW BEACON, NOW SEA, will be published in September 2021, and has been called "absolutely compelling" (Susan Straight), "an incredibly moving masterpiece" (David Treuer), "irresistible" (Steve Erickson), and "unforgettable" (Rick Moody).
