Chris Simon is a French-American who lives in New York City and Paris. She used to teach French in New York. Today, she gives short stories writing workshops in France. Since 2002, her short stories have appeared in numerous French language literary reviews such as Mondes francophones (University of Louisiana, US), DiptYque (Belgium), Moebius and Virages (Canada), Brèves and Rue Saint Ambroise (France)... She self-published a collections of short stories: Le baiser de la mouche (The Kiss of A Fly, 2012) available on iTunes, Kobo, NookBook and Createspace. Her first novel, Ma mère est une fiction (My Mother is Fiction) was recently published in 2012 by Publienet. Lacan et La boîte de mouchoirs (Lacan and the Kleenex box, 2013) is her third self-published ebook and her first fictional French Lacanian psychoanalysis 3 part series and Brooklyn Paradis, her new serial was selfpublished from 2018 to 2020.
