I have written children’s and young-adult books since the age of 13. I grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts and moved to Colorado in the autumn of 1989. Through my stories I strive to show children the values of compassion, understanding, love, and friendship. I am a self-taught ASL signer/singer, and was asked to interpret the 2002 Olympic Torch Relay in Aspen, CO. In 1988 I received a Poet of Merit award from the American Poetry Society, and I continue pursuing my writing career today.
