About this listen
At 24, Zoey has struggled for several years to pay off her mother's hospital bills. While living in her car and working at a restaurant have been challenges, Zoey maintains a cheerful and optimistic attitude. Two endearing customers alert Zoey Geller to a job opportunity that changes her life. Jon and Cecily have a very different relationship in which Jon appears to be more of a father than a husband. Zoey is the only waitress in the diner who enjoys serving them. The others are uncomfortable interacting with the age-play couple. When Cecily suggests that Zoey would be a perfect companion of her physician, Jon agrees and encourages Zoey to contact Dr. Richards.
Calamities occur as Zoey attempts to get to her interview and Dr. Richards rescues the petite blonde from a night in the rain. Dr. Richards treats her injuries with the methods he uses with all his Little patients: thorough examinations, rectal thermometers, and medicines including suppositories and enemas. Zoey soon learns that Dr. Richards is looking for a companion who will be his Little (an adult that lives as a child.) She will be required to follow his directions, use diapers, and allow him to treat her medical needs. Zoey is soon introduced to his age-play patients and their parents as his daughter and a whole new world opens up for her.
This complete novel introduces a series of books featuring Dr. Richards' patients and their parents. The books in this series will feature invasive medical treatments including thorough examinations and enemas when required as well as diaper changes, bottle feedings, spankings, and other punishments. If you are offended by any of these or by age-play, this is not the book or series for you.

Was A Surprise!!!
This book was nothing like I expected it to be. I made a mistake and didn't read the summary prior to asking to review it. I was quite surprised around chapter 3 when I learned what the book was really about.
But, I actually enjoyed it very much. In the BDSM World, Daddies and Littles is still the most frowned upon relationship. I just found this book very entertaining and filled with a lot of information on the lifestyle.
I would actually recommend the book to others. The author Pepper North wrote a clear & open description I believe for one to decide if it's something they may want to explore.
The narrator Nicole René my goodness, did an incredible job with the voices.

Interesting!
This is my first Pepper North book as well as my first book dealing with age play and adult babies. While Littles don't really interest me at all, I feel like Zoey gave me a glimpse of what that type of lifestyle might be like which I found rather interesting. Zoey was used to taking care of herself and found it difficult at first to let someone else take care of her but she quickly adjusted to this new lifestyle. Much of this book dealt with enemas, suppositories, rectal thermometers, spankings and diapers which doesn't sound like it goes with a sweet romance story but, in this case, it does. If you like Littles and age play, this book is definitely for you!
I thought Nicole René did a great job narrating this story. She has a nice voice, and it was very easy to tell the different characters apart.

Sweet Zoey and 5+ stars for Nicole Rene
Zoey is my second audio from Pepper North and it is the first book in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series. It had been awhile since I had read Zoey’s story, so this was a perfect refresher on an awesome story. The narration by Nicole Rene was perfect. She did an amazing job at capturing the innocence of Sweet Zoey and the stern, yet compassionate Matt Richards. This entire series will certainly pull you out of your comfort zone, particularly if you are new to ageplay or medical play books but rest assured that Pepper North is one of the best at writing them.

Gets very repetitive.
Firstly I need to say this is my first age play, and it isn't for me .. but each to their own. However, that has no bearing on my review, I can still review on plot line, narration quality and overall impression.
The narration was ok, very saccharin and sweet which grated a little but maybe that plays into the theme. She had one annoying pronunciation habit which niggled. she can't say "across", which is a word used a lot in this book... she always adds a "t" onto the end of it.. .so she says "accrost".
The obsession with enemas and anal temperature taking was seriously excessive and seem to be the focus of the storyline. It got extremely repetitive. Once you've heard the detail once, you don't need to hear it another 30 times. If you cut that down to once or twice, it would become a VERY short book. I actually got to a point where it was driving me nuts that this guy is supposed to be a Dr and care deeply for her ( within hours of meeting her), yet keeps doing these unnecessary "procedures " so many times in short time span that he would actually cause her internal trauma. He would damage her for life, or at the very least cause a bad case of piles and internal fissures.
I get that it's all fantasy and make believe but it has to have some sort of responsibility for safety when some folk who like this type of story may go out and try some of this stuff.
Way too far fetched on every level for me, though some may enjoy the escapism.

Different but Good
This is no where near the usual books I read, but decided to give it a go. It took a while for me to really get into it, just because it was different and had to get used to what was happening. I'm still a little baffled how anyone would be okay with the extreme measures taken so quickly in the beginning of the book. That is fiction, I guess, or just me lol. It was still a very well written book.
The narration was fantastic, sounding like it was bring read to children, considering the irony of the book and plot. There were a few parts of the books where it sounded like my volume was quickly bring turned down and right back up. I listened to it on my other phone and iPad, with same results. It wasn't bad, but very noticeable in the quiet of the night. I wish Angela was on audible, because I would definitely listen to that one!

A different kind of Kink
Ok to start Age Play is something totally new to me, I was quite taken by the dynamic of the role play, between Zoey and her new Daddy Dr. Matt Richards. It was kind of fascinating to watch Zoey except her role and become a woman/child with so little effort. I think I want to explore this more, will await the next audiobook hopefully narrated by Nicole Rene, she did a great job with this story.

The Littles!
Every once in a while I like to listen to something that takes me completely out of my comfort zone. Pepper North's Littles series is just that. Zoey is in need of a job. When her friends recommend her to be a companion to their friend Dr. Richards, she decides to go on an interview. When they finally meet, it's Zoey's chance to be taken care of in a way she never dreamed of. This is a lifestyle I never have given much thought to, and Pepper North gives us a look at what it's like to have a Daddy-little type relationship. It's a whole new world to Zoey, and her journey to finding the love of her life is complete. If age-play is not for you, than pass this by. This is the first of her Little's series setting us up to meet more in the lifestyle. Nicole Rene's narration is paced well and she gives a good performance.

Something different
Well that was very different from my usual read/listen. I’m a little unsure of how I feel. I enjoyed the storyline however there was a lot of descriptive wording that I could of done without! It didn’t take away from the overall book.
