About this listen
She’s tied up at work...by her boss.
The last thing Lochlan wanted in a new assistant was some inexperienced, gorgeous, submissive blonde. However, a promise to a friend ensures that’s exactly what he’s stuck with.
May knows she’s out of her league, not only in her new job, but with her boss. He makes her want things she’s never considered - kinky, sensual, wicked things.
When trouble at home shows Lochlan more about her life than May wants him to see, there’s no stopping the sexy protector suddenly determined to claim not only her body, but her heart as well.

Sweet Boss Assistant Romance
Wild Temptation is a cute and sweet romance about Lochlan who is married to his work, with no desire to ever settle down and have kids, and May his new, and much younger assistant. May is excited about her new job, but she really needs it more so to help with all of her other responsibilities and being attracted to her boss is the last thing she needs.
I absolutely adored Lochlan's family, and I loved May's nieces and their interactions with Lochlan. I liked the parts of the story where Lochlan opened himself up to May's world and how willing he was to help her and her family and how easy that seemed to be for him. I liked how strong May was trying to take care of her family. I do think the story definitely had a bit of an insta-love feel, which isn't my favorite, but I did still find the story enjoyable.
I think Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a wonderful job with the narration of this story and I enjoyed listening to them and would recommend them. #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock

Stand alone HEA
This one started off almost like a slow burn story and I appreciated that the characters didn’t jump right in to a relationship. The second half the book had a lot of intimate scenes, but there was also more to the story.
This is the first book I’ve read in the series. There were other couples mentioned in the book, but I didn’t feel like I needed to read the other books first.
The narration by Lee Daniels and Connor Brown was excellent, with both sounding age- and character-appropriate. I would listen to both again, and I’m sure that I enjoyed the story more because of their performances.

Lochlan and May!
Lochlan is a man who thrives on control both when it comes to his business and the women he is intimate with. Although his assistant has told him that she is retiring and that she will find him a suitable replacement he believes that she will change her mind and returns to the office to find May has been hired. He isn’t certain she will be a good fit but there is no denying the attraction he has for her.
May has a lot of people counting on her so she needs to prove that she is capable of doing the job well. She is determined to keep a clear division between work and family however when once they start to intersect there is no going back.
May is independent and trying to balance a lot when it comes to her personal life however when Lochlan finds out her situation he wants to help ease her responsibilities. The chemistry between them was intense and I enjoyed seeing Lochlan show May that accepting help isn’t a weakness but a strength. I thought the narrators did a great job of bringing out May’s sassy personality as well as Lochlan’s swoony side. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

May & Lochlan!
When Lochlan’s assistant retires, she hires May as her replacement. May needed the job, has never been an assistant before, but needing the money, she takes the job. Lochlan is married to his job, and he has a no fraternization policy. But seeing May, there may be a change coming. May is guardian to her nieces, and takes care of her sick mother, so work is imperative. But the explosive chemistry between May and Lochlan is about ready to ignite. With danger looming and feelings growing, Lochlan’s protective side comes out. But will May give into her boss and fall in love? Two people, not ready for a relationship, this office romance is an easy, fun listen. Mari Carr caught my attention with her bad boy dominant boss as he finds his heart! Loved this book and hope to listen to more of this series.
Narrated by Lee Daniels and Connor Brown, this story comes to life. Daniels has a wonderfully warm voice, and her portrayal of May is full of hesitancy and love. She brings out her maternal side as well as her wildcat. Daniels pulls his Irish brogue out as Lochlan’s granddad and is fabulous. He then creates a protective dom voice, making us love Lochlan. These two storytellers are fantastic together.

This series is really well written.
I got this audiobook via a promo code from The Flock and this is my voluntary review.
An office romance. Book 5 here focuses on May Flowers and self made millionaire Lochlain Collins. I was completely engrossed in this book from the minute I began reading it and found myself unable to put it down. Mari Carr is a truly excellent author; after starting with just one book from the Wilder Irish series because I enjoyed it so much, I continued to read that series before switching to the Wild Irish series. I adored every single character and book!
Mari Carr does a great job of making sure that every character is unique with their own mannerisms and expressions, as opposed to other authors who occasionally utilise the same sayings and expressions across a series. Each and every story is unique. One of the appeals of the series is getting to know the supporting cast, who include a nice family.
Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did an amazing job bringing this hot story to life.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 Steamy & Heartfelt!
This is a fabulous office romance novel, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. This is my first “Wilder Irish” book, and I had no problem jumping into the series midway, the books stands entirely on its own though it made me interested in the other books of the series because I love this world Mari Carr created and the characters in it. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Lachlan is a business executive who runs his own company. He is also a workaholic and has no time or interest in a long-term relationship and never mention the “K” word, kids are a big no for him. Every time his assistant wanted to retire he begged and bribed her to stay, she ran his office smoothly and is afraid no one will be as competent as her. But it is time for her to retire and he had her find and hire her replacement. Lachlan was expecting her to hire an older woman, but he got the complete opposite. May Flowers is not only young but she is gorgeous and he senses that she is a true submissive, though she may not know that. He thinks her working there is going to be a disaster, but it turns out to be anything but. May needed this job, her life has not been the easiest and she has a lot to be responsible for. She knows the job is demanding with long hours but the pay is good and it will help with her current situation. She works hard and proves herself a worthy assistant but when personal issues arise for her Lachlan jumps in to help and when he sees her life outside of work he sees is a whole new side to her. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a beautifully plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and a steamy romance with a touch of kink. Mari Carr, thank you for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I am looking forward to checking out the rest of the series.
🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Lee Daniels and Connor Brown are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Connor Brown nailed it as Lachlan, a bossy alpha not afraid to show his softer side. Lee Daniels’ played May with perfection, grasped her strengths, vulnerable moments and her submissive ones. Both were great performing all the secondary roles too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen.

Steamy fun
This is the first book i've read in the Wilder Irish series and it was steamy fun. May is trying to keep her family above water and starts working with Lochlan. There is light sub dom that made this story especially steamy, especially since May is very innocent. But overall, I really liked May as a character-sweet and loyal, dealing with her mom's sickness and the care of her nieces. Lochlan is majorly alpha, which was fun too. I think that the biggest problem I had was that the book was written in such a way that some of the interactions felt really cliche or corny but overall, the story was fun.
Lee Daniels and Connor Brown both did so well with the narration. The narration elevated the story and brought out the emotion.
