Summary
Knox Bauer's life has unraveled to the point of no return. Fighting to fill the emptiness inside himself, he seeks solace in unfamiliar beds with unfamiliar women. As guardian to his three younger brothers, he can't seem to do a thing right. But this can't go on...they look up to him in every way and all he's done lately is prove how messed up he really is. Needing a change, he attends a local sex addict’s anonymous meeting, where he finds himself tempted by the alluring instructor, McKenna. Twenty-one-year-old McKenna is trying to make amends. After losing her parents in a horrific accident, she knows if she can just be good enough, maybe she can forgive herself for what happened. With her newly acquired degree in counseling, she begins leading a sex addicts group where she meets the troubled Knox and her life takes on complications she never bargained for. She doesn't have time for a bad boy who only wants to take her to bed, even if her body disagrees. The fixer in her wants to help, but trusting Knox's true motivations might take more courage than she has.

Oh how delicious.
Oh, how delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I must admit I was expecting filth, ram packed with it, was I disappointed? Hell the frig no.... I absolutely adore a, slow burning delicious build up just as much as hot action. We get to know the characters so much more and that lays the groundworks for me to get really involved and i loved this.......
Knox and Mckenna, her guilt, his troubles and two different personalties that lead them to deal with their issues in such opposite ways. She is drawn to Knox and chips her way in and he lets her. The visual I had of Knox with his brothers and that baby, omg. If i was chocolate i would be a melted mess on the floor right now
No wonder Mckenna gets in so deep, i was gone!.
The sexual chemistry between the two was like i said delicious and it seemed like i was prying it was that intense at times and i love that in a book i was so hooked and i was listening to this on Audible, having it read to me my a wonderful Man with a voice like liquid chocolate. But it wasn't all intense looks and chemistry, I laughed so hard at times, when Knox was babysitting my toilet humour came out at the
"Code Green" comment. in fact me sat with my head phones on suddenly screaming out laughing and the rest of the house are looking at me like i am tapped..... but thats not unusual.
Then, Kendall does it to me again, when Knox goes to find McKenna when she is volunteering..... I mean seriously, she has tapped right into my sense of humour here.
Anyway.....loved how the 'friendship' develops and things get cosy, and then it happens.... the ending.
I as some may know, love a cliffhanger, I adore them.... so this is fabulous.. but, will i be able to wait for the Audible version or will I crack?
