About this listen
Teacher plus student equals a romance forbidden
When Sophia wins a postgraduate place at Ivy Drama College, she can't believe her luck. The college is owned by one of the most well-respected young actors in London, Marc Blackwell - who not only founded the college but teaches the students.
Known for his strict classes and belief in discipline, Marc has a reputation for being arrogant and aloof, yet Sophia soon finds herself drawn to this cold, fascinating young man. Soon Sophia is embarking on a journey of sexual discovery that promises to explore all that is forbidden between teacher and student.
Listen to this book to see why this is one teacher student affair you will NEVER forget.

Katy's Narration Was Great!
A teacher-student romance that will keep intrigued from the very first lines. a rollercoaster of emotions, angst and a little suspense is the feeling you get when you read The Ivy Lessons... Sophie and Mark felt for each other even if they tried so hard to stay out of each others path.. but life and circumstances made this explosive attraction impossible to stop. They have to hide, and keep their feelings to themselves, making their relationship a little riskier and even uncomfortable at times.. she doesn't want to hurt his career, he wants to protect her at all costs.. This is only the beginning of Sophies and Mark story we still have so many questions that need to be answered and I'm sure that in the next books we're going to find out.
The narrations by Katy Sobey was great, I really feel like she added so much to the story and brought so much into the characters, even if at times some of the dialogs felt a little immature, her voice made you feel otherwise. it was my first book narrated by Katy and I really enjoyed.

Fun listen
I liked the narrator for this audiobook. She did a good job keeping her voice at different levels and didn’t sound like she was reading. She has a nice voice too. The story was good and I liked the overall plot. Well written. Will look into more from this author and narrator!

The start of a relationship.
This first book in the series provides the groundwork for the ongoing relationship between Mark and Sophia. It is really well narrated by Katy Sobey who brings the innocence and uncertainty of Sophia to life. I must admit there are times I grew a little impatient with Sophia, wanting her to be more forceful, but then that wouldn't be her. I love Tom and Tanya and look forward to seeing the friendships develop...and some comeuppances😊
Overall, a really good listen which has me heading to get the next book of the series asap.

hot!
I absolutely loved this teacher/student romance , it was so hot and not like your usual teacher romance , Mark tries not to cross that line but sophia is too much to resist, what follows is sweet and sinful, cant wait to listen to the rest of the books in the series
the narrator did both female and male voices perfectly

Fantastically brilliant
Oh I need more from Mark and Sophia. This is a great storyline, the chemistry is 100% there and I feel this is just the beginning. Performance from Katy is great.

Sweet and steamy professor and student romance
I've had this book in my TBR for years and finally got round to getting the audiobook which was brilliant! I think this story comes across much better as an audiobook as you can feel the emotions through the narrator's voice. I loved this story and it got going quite quickly, the intimate scenes were brilliant and hot! I really enjoyed Sophia's self-discovery but I need to find out more about Marc and his dark side. My only disappointment was it carries on in other books as a series so now I need to get those. #AudiobookObsession

This was so good!
I liked this story. Mark and Sophie have instant chemistry and even though he’s her professor, they are close in age.
Sophie’s life is kind of mundane... until she gets accepted to ivy college, in a full scholarship. She is elated, but worries about her dad and step brother. Her stepmom is quite useless. However, she accepts the scholarship and goes to Ivy.
From there it gets more interesting... but you’ll have to listen!!
Suzy K Quinn writes a great story here... makes me want the next one now!!
Katy Sobey does a good job with the characters.

Keep Falling For Books Sequels
Suzy K. Quinn has got me with falling for her book that turns out to be one of a sequel. I should've known but thought I was safe when it was more than thirty chapters.
The Ivy Lessons is "Fifty Shades of Grey" w/o The Red Room. I was consumed by the teacher cool attitude and the student warming heart.
I loved the friends that Ms. Quinn surrounded the student with; even the Music teacher.
Book One was well written, so I can only imagine what to expect in Book 2 of this series.
The narrator Katy Sobey did an extraordinary job with the many characters that she had to portray. I definitely recommend this book and am looking forward to the next installments.

Marc and Sophia
This was an amazing story thank you Suzy Quinn. I have a soft spot for British accents. Sophia is a college student who applied to go to an advanced college program at the prestigious Ivy College. This school is run and owned by Marc Blackwell. The are infatuated with each other and then have to decide if the risk is worth the backlash. Katy Sobey did an amazing job with the story telling in this book.
