About this listen
They took everything from me. Time to return the favor. A few months ago, I was just a regular nineteen-year-old girl.
Now I'm trapped at a remote college and held at the mercy of three savage bullies.
No one can see through the Serpents' Adonis-like disguises.
Except me.
I've never felt this alone before. This terrified. This...furious.
These three murderers stole everything from me.
They think the humiliation, the degradation, the suffering they've put me through has left me broken?
Guess again, Serpents.
You might be stronger than me.
You might be untouchable.
But you took everything from me, so now I have nothing left to lose.
This game of yours? I'm playing to win.
I know exactly how to make you grovel at my feet.
But I won't forgive you. I will break all three of you.
Starting with your black hearts.
Savages is a DARK college bully romance with mature content some may find triggering. Listener discretion is advised.

My Thoughts on Savages
Book two of this series is definitely as dark and twisted as book one. Mom continues to endure all kinds of cruelty at the hands of the serpents. But I can appreciate that there was a bit of plot and relationship development as well. I feel like maybe they’re saving the best for last (or at least I’m hoping so) and that all remaining questions will be answered there. I also am hoping for a real shift in the treatment of Nim and clarity in her relationship with the guys. But either way I can’t wait to jump in and find out how this all ends. The narration was fantastic once again and I’m so happy that both narrators brought the same energy and performance quality to this story as they did the last one.

🔥 goes up a notch!!
Book 2 steps up the 🔥 for sure! You get more of the dark punishment as well but you get an answer you have been waiting for since book 1 but still are left with so many questions, so book 3 is a natural next listen!! Emotions also run high in parts!

Dark bully romance
Even though the connection between Nim, Knox, Silas and Mason is growing beyond the initial obsession from book one, this is very much two steps forward, one step back. The Serpents are showing interest in Nim the person rather than Nim the mystery but the bullying is far from over and scenes like the football field with Mason were really hard to listen to; these guys are definitely anti-heroes. Silas and his slapping continues to grind my gears and out of all of them he is the one I am struggling with most. Knox starts putting some of the pieces together about the mysterious sponsors and he was probably the one I am engaged with the most; the history of how the Serpents came to be was definitely one of the more interesting elements in the book. There are still several questions to be answered going into book three.
Although the characters are still awful, the narrators have a lot to play with. Chloe Ryan continues to keep me invested in Nim's journey to find out the mystery behind her parents and Cinderhart while Benjamin Sands brings out Mason's teasing side (when it's there), Silas simmering rage and Knox's stoic arrogance.
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Dark Why Choose College Bully Romance
Savages by Logan Fox is a dark why choose college bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Chloe Ryan and Benjamin Sands. This is the second book in the Serpents of Cinderhart Academy series.
This is the second book of Logan’s that I have read and it won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I am really enjoying the chemistry between Nim and the guys. It’s toxic but I can’t help but root for them. I loved getting Knox, Mason, Silas, and Nim’s points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can’t wait to dive into the final book in the series Snake.
Benjamin and Chloe did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you’re looking for a dark romance, bully romance, academy romance, or why choose romance.

Intrigued
This story is intriguing because we still don not know why Nim is a student at Cinder Heart Academy and what secrets are to come. Knox, Silas, and Mason all have deeply disturbing problems that only Nim can calm. Nim is getting stronger but she has been beat down by the bullying. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
