Gritty and hot
This was my first Audio from Deborah. I am used to dual narrative but never with both characters in each chapter and I loved it so much. It makes you feel so much more connected to the characters and feel just like them. The Tyler Griffin was absolutely amazing with his Irish and gruff voice. Kieran was so real it was mind blowing. Lexi was just as strong as Isabella and showed great character.
This was gritty, full if secrets, suspense, Mob, Mafia and Bratva wars, arranged marriage and very spicy.
I really loved both of the characters but Isabella was so strong and innocent. I loved how she was open and eager to learn and try anything. But she still had strength to stand up for herself true Queen in the making. Kieran, king of the Irish Mob needs an heir and Isabella's dad needs the funds. There is a large age gap of 19 years.
Kieran won't love again after losing his love of his life but is enjoying this new relationship with Isabella even though he keeps fighting it.
I cried for Bella when he told her he won't and doesn't love her.
Bellas life is in danger and gosh the ordeal she experiences 💔. Will Kieran realise his mistake and save his love in time?
Witty banter, romantic, found family, gore, action drama and love. Can't wait for rest of the series.

Loved the narration of Lexi Evans and Tyler Griffin
Kieran is the leader of the Irish mafia, after losing his fiancé, also a lot of failed marriage arrangements. After the Russians attack the Italians, Kieran decides that the Italian princess, Isabella, needs protection and the best way to protect her is in the form of marriage. Isabella is not happy but she knows it is the way of keeping her safe. Even when married to Kieran someone is after Isabella. after her. Kieran knows it his job to protect her.
There is angst, drama , and such spice .

great listen
Keiran needs and heir and sets his sights on Isabella as his bride, paying her father off is easy but getting Isabella to submit is something else! well written steamy arranged marriage, desires, action and more. the characters and story develop well though out.
Audio review- well duel narration brings the story to life and captivates you as a listener.
