About this listen
Love unearthed his heart from the cold, hard ground.
Now comes the fight to revive it.
Love. Just when Max Kelley thought he’d eradicated it from his life for good it snuck back in, in the form of his beautiful new sub, Sean. Something that Max is far from happy about. In fact, he fights it tooth and nail. Having his world decimated was hell on earth, an experience he’d go to any lengths to avoid repeating. Problem is, while his head is determined to protect his heart, his heart can’t stop thinking about Sean.
Sean, his perfect sub, his perfect match, his perfect everything. Which makes him that much more of a threat. Were Max to claim him and then lose him, the devastation would be far greater than even Kevin’s death. So, in order to ensure his heart and soul stay intact, he must once again eradicate love from his life. Eradicate Sean from his world. But Sean is a scrapper, just like Max, and refuses to give up without a fight. In their final showdown of fiery passion and wills, whose heart will come out in one piece?
Warning: This erotic, gay, BDSM romance contains intensely explicit sexual scenes both inside and out of the dungeon.
Note from the author: In keeping with the promise I made to my Upending Tad devotees, I've included a small side story with Tad and Scott in book 2 where we delve a bit further into the developments of their relationship, and all the wonderful ways they've been keeping each other's hearts pounding. So, be prepared for two more character point of views! Tad and Scott aren't going anywhere. XXO

Max and Sean forever!
After listening to "Unearthed", I couldn't wait to listen to "Revived". What an emotional roller coaster ride!
Kora Knight has a terrific writing style that absolutely won me over. I could totally connect with her characters that she created in depth.
I adore Sean, who has the strength to fight for both of them over and over again - until it's almost too late. And I also love Max, who has been very affected by his past and I can really understand him to some extent. He has built high walls around his heart and therefore often comes across as cold-hearted. But what Max needs most urgently is love.
It takes damn good friends who are able to tear down the walls. But what are friends for!
In the end, Max has to hope that it's not too late.
Wow, what an impressive story! Very entertaining, very emotional, very sad at some points, but also exciting and full of love. What I also very enjoyed were the appearances of Scott and Tad, which I was happy to see.
I loved the audiobook and that was not only because of the author, that was also because of the narrator.
Michael Dean delivered a brilliant performance. He knocked it out of the park.
He found the perfect voices for Sean and Max, he understood and lived the emotions and he brought this story to life in a phenomenal way.
Max and Sean will be with me for a while.
Highly recommended!

BDSM indulgent, with heartbreak....
Sometimes you come across a character who you want to hurt and hug at the same time...
Oh Max, you cruel man, how could you? I know you are broken but let down those wall and see the gorgeous guy trying desperately to make you happy.
This was a long story which brought out so many emotions in me, including bawling my eyes out . One minute I was all hot and bothered with Max and Sean in the dungeon (so hot) and the next I was angry at the coldness Max showed Sean. But damn Sean has balls, he was so persistent always catching Max out unexpectedly, always in his face, always so hopeful. It takes a few punches to his face and gut from Scott to show Max what he'd be losing if he ever let Sean leave. Such a stubborn and scared man, pretending to be happy and fulfilled.... but you know you're not Max.
There were so many times in this book where I actually said out loud damn that's so good/harsh/beautiful, the writing is that amazing. I felt their journey deeply, both men had to find resilience and allow vulnerability which did not come easily, but it was all worth it in the end.
I enjoyed catching up with Scott and Tad and the simmering attraction brewing between Kai and Breck .
It's a long audio made enjoyable by the talented Michael Dean, his growly Max voice is sure to give you the shivers.

Emotional rollercoaster
This whole series was an emotional roller coaster!
From the very beginning of the first book until the end.
I liked the story! But I could never understand Sean, how he continues fighting. Because I could never understand cruelty and find it extremely unattractive. But I don’t have to understand it all to enjoy (if that’s the right word) the story.
And I really liked that Tad and Scotts story continued!
Also Michael Dean did an excellent job with this.

Emotional and hot and sexy.
Michael Dean's performance is absolutely perfect. The story is hot and sexy while also being very emotional. Max is a jerk to Sean but Sean never gives up and their HEA was very satisfying. It was also great to visit with Tad and Scot again.

Emotionally compelling
The ending to this duology was everything I was hoping for.
Max has spent years with his emotions locked down in order to simply survive.
When he becomes involved with his beautiful sub, Sean those emotions are awakened with a vengeance.
Max has no idea how to deal with them so he doubles down and tries to shove Sean aside.
The work that he goes through to heal himself and rescue his relationship with Sean was a beautiful redemption story and absolutely changed my opinion of him because I didn't really care for him.
Michael Dean did an excellent job narrating and bringing the story to life.

Perfection!
Kora Knight writes brilliantly when Michael Dean narrates the book it instantly becomes alive.
Max has still broken a man who won't give in to Sean at all, Max is drowning in his past, he can't let go!
Sean feels so very lost when he is not with Max, his love for Max is flowing through his veins, his beginning and hopefully his end
Their determination of Sean to wear Max down is relentless.
Their emotions are raw, and their chemistry is explosive.
This continuing story is written perfectly then add Michael Dean who narrates this audiobook making it an audiobook never to forget.
What an incredible story for Maximus and Sean plus me.
