Calvin and
Calvin is a successful popstar who has the money to buy anything he wants and the looks to have anyone he wants. He is getting tired of the lifestyle and would like nothing more than to fall in love and have a relationship but finding the right woman isn’t as easy as it appears.
Jess is a struggling actress who works as a grocery clerk while she auditions hoping for her big break. She and Calvin meet by chance at a coffeeshop and they have an immediate connection and chemistry.
His celebrity lifestyle and his past bring complications to their relationship but anything worth having is worth fighting for. The author is also the narrator and I thought he did a great job at bringing all the emotions of the story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.

Popstar Romance
This was an enjoyable storyline. It's always fascinating to hear a narrator write his or her own book. Rodney Falcon did wonderfully with plot and character development, I'm wholly impressed.
The main characters, Calvin and Jess, are fabulous together. They have a charged connection, and their chemistry is off-the-charts. I thoroughly enjoyed their story.
The narration by Rodney himself is superb. Given that he wrote the characters, he channels them perfectly, bringing them to life.

Nice
I enjoyed this book it flowed well. Calvin Glass was a little confused he wanted true love but think he gave his heart a little to easy. It was a nice story and kept me well entertained.
Rodney Falcon has a nice voice and draws you into the story well. He does well with female voice not to OTT just right.
I look forward to more from Rodney Falcon i enjoyed his story and narration.x

Great story
Really enjoyed this audiobook, I’m a bit spoiled by dual narration and have a hard time now hearing a single narrator do a book unless they are exceptional with both points of view. Unfortunately Rodney’s female voice is not distinguishable enough for me to realize who is speaking without a lot of concentration and I enjoy doing things when I listen to an audiobook. But the story was authentic and realistic and I loved the characters.

Good start, debut book.
Wow, Rodney gave me this audible book for a fair and honest review. As author and narrator he had an advantage of knowing what to say and the inflection to use, my only critique is , needs a little work on feminine voices or specify who is speaking, got a little confused in spots on the character. Other than that I enjoyed this book. Bad boy pop Star with a heart, you made Calvin Glass believable. The sex scenes amazing, Jess was adorable, fun, flirty, down to earth. i was surprised at the stalker, her profession, who would guess. All in all I enjoyed your debut book. Thank you and want to hear more. Maybe Calvin’s manager or Jess’s best friend?

Show or tell?
Telling your audience what you want them to know, is not bad. Sometimes it has to be done. But I felt that is pretty much all what happened. I never felt as if I was a part of or in the book. I never connected with the characters because I felt a friend was telling me events that happened. While, when I read a book, I was to escape to that world. Sadly, that never happened for me here. Still a good story line, I just believe it could have been written a bit better.

Excellent Narration, Good Story.
A famous popstar looking for Mrs.Right. A pretty good plot that flowed well. I think I would have liked a little more depth to the main character's and their love connection because it was kind of an insta-love story. However, there were definitely a lot of steamy scenes!
I really like this narrator's performances. You can count on him to consistently give an excellent performance that can be listened to with ease.

Great narration, enjoyable story
The narration by Rodney Falcon really brought this story to life. When the first female voice came through I actually went back to check that there was only one narrator!
I am really not at all sure what to make of Calvin at all. At times I want to Gibbs slap him as he makes his own trouble. At times he's really thoughtful and sweet and at other times he seems like a child. Just a typical man? Something about him intrigues me though. I wanted to know what was going to happen. I enjoyed watching the characters and their relationships. I also enjoyed where the story went.

A bit surprised!
Really, I didn't realize the narrator and author were the same. However, I loved the narration. I've only noticed this combo one other time, the narrator and author being one, but I feel like they know what they want out of their characters so their narration should be perfect. I might rate a smidge harder due to this. But I liked the narration. I really found the storyline sweet. It is a kind of insta-love type story. I don't mind that. Sometimes when you know, you just know. I really liked Calvin and Jess. I loved where they author took their story... even if areas seemed a bit too outlandish... oh well, I read to be transported to made up places so it didn't bother me one bit :)
