About this listen

What's more embarrassing than being mistaken for someone you’re not ... like an escort?
Ending up kneeling in front of a potential new employer...
Only to discover you've been hired as a nanny for his daughter...

I had been unemployed for months and with finances tight.
I didn't hesitate when I received an unexpected job offer over the phone.

The voice on the other end instructed me not to ask any questions,
so I complied and found myself standing on the doorstep of the residence of the UK Prime Minister.

The biggest problem arose when he assuming I was there for a different purpose.
Before I could explain, he rushed me upstairs and instructed me to wait for him, naked.
One thing led to another and I was soon inches from his big, beautiful…

Meh - Quite Mysoginistic

Likes:
- General gist of the story.
- Good voice actors.

Dislikes:
- The PM regularly uses s3x workers (edit for algorithm detection of ‘rude’ words), which really rubs me the wrong way. Buying women to use for their bodies is offensive. One of his encounters with a s3x worker is described, where he chokes her until she can’t breathe, and she likes it. I’m sure SWs have to put up with this regularly, and pretend that they’re into it as part of their job. This is not hot or s3xy, and made me believe that the PM character is a real piece of ____.
- The PM speaks to the nanny so offensively—you’re-a-filthy-s1ut-type of stuff. He also chokes her until she can’t breathe in one scene. Yet the nanny is supposed to be a headstrong, independent woman. I’m not into S+M myself, but I’m under the impression that those who are into it use safe words, consent to what will be happening, etc. None of this happens here—the PM just does what he wants to women.
- The PM is very possessive of the nanny, always banging on about how she’s his, and how she belongs to him. He tells her on a few occasions that he will get her pregnant, almost like marking his territory.

Bottom line: the storyline was interesting and I enjoyed the actors. I found a lot of the misogyny offensive. For reference, I’m a Gen-Xer who was born in the 70s. I have my doubts on whether Millennials and elder Gen-Zers will find this hot—they seem to be even more evolved than we are on issues regarding consent and a man claiming ownership of a woman. Let’s just say that if the nanny were my friend in real life, I would be telling her to run for the hills because there are so many red flags with this guy, that you could sew a bunting out of them.
