About this listen

Bored senseless in a meeting, Jon McNeill amuses himself with a kinky dating app on his phone. Then the app matches him with another user... who’s six feet away. Suddenly, Jon finds himself on the same page as someone who’s way above his pay grade: millionaire property developer Rick Pierce.

The app isn’t kidding, either. They’re a perfect match. Jon’s a dom, Rick’s a sub, and they both love bondage. Both guys are well into their 40s, know their way around the bedroom, and definitely appreciate a good suit. And the best part? They’re a match outside the bedroom too.

But office relationships aren’t easy to keep a secret. When the truth comes out, Jon is certain he’s about to get fired. Instead, he finds himself tangled up in a much bigger mess.

Contains two men who’ve only dreamed of this kind of sex, literal and figurative sex machines, blindfolds, a sub being punished during a business meeting, enough rope to tangle up a millionaire, and a Golden Girls marathon.

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Nick J Russo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Not for me

Sadly, this book didn't work for me. I'm not quite sure why, I just didn't connect with Rick at all and found myself not caring what happened. LA Witt is a wonderful writer and I've loved so many of her books so I would certainly not let this book not working for me turn you off. The narrator did a fantastic job!

AMAZING

Narration: 5★
Story: 5★
Execution: 5★

L.A. Witt never fails to amaze me.

This is the first BDSM book I`ve read from her and boy, it`s a-m-a-z-i-n-g! The characters are very believable, they evolve as a person and as a couple. The drama is well done and not OTP or too melodramatic. The scenes are hot and what I most like about the book was the communication between the MC's. They talk about EVERTHING. Before, during and after the scenes. It`s refreshing really. Another thumbs up it's the kinkiness was only in the bedroom, which I can appreciate. The conversations in the office was hilarious, I love the good banter they have.

Narration wise was flawless, but I think I'm biased because I love Nick J. Russo narration so there is that. I always find fascinating how he can change his voice into something so different, it's almost like another person entirely.

sweet and kinky

I read the book first on kindle and loved it sounds I went for the audible book as well and I am NOT disappointed!

Story; well thought out and the other characters really interact well with the main ones. The funny interactions in the zone were hilarious!

Narrator; really enjoyed their take on the book and the different aspects of each character so they didn't blend into one.

overall will be listening to it again and so glad I have both!

A sound construction

It's a definite bonus when a story's setting takes you somewhere different. Architectural modelling with all its precision, planning, and painstaking work is an interesting backdrop to a love affair that lacks most of these characteristics. What they do share is the ability to go disastrously wrong just when nobody expects it.

Jon McNeill is believable as the put-upon corporate drone, partly because you see everything from his perspective. He draws you in. The secondary characters are a diverse, sometimes amusing, crowd, but the other lead is a sketch, a stock character, which is a pity.

This is one of Nick Russo's better narrations - well-drawn characters gaining distinctive voices. He does have the annoying habit of making the word 'draw' and anything like it, sound as though there's an 'l' immediately after the 'w' though.
