Sexy and hot af 🥵 but so much sweetness too!
This will contain spoilers…..
Firstly the spice is 5/5🌶️ because the scenes are really hot and they test and trial so many different things and what works for the MC who’s not done it before.
Some times I had to take a break coz it was getting very steamy. The narrator seemed to defo have a great time reading it 😉
Plot wise: This is a 4/4.5⭐️ for me personally because I really did enjoy it once I got over the extremely rushed start!
But feel like the start of this book/ mini series could’ve easily made it a 5⭐️ read if there was alot more lead up to when we get our first scenes with Malcolm and North together.
Like a little more background of them working/ playing around each other on the field etc. and some sexual tension building from Norths POV.
However, what we did get was going from one MC thinking he’s 100% straight and as far as I can remember, still doesn’t think he’s ever been attracted to another guy before except the main love interest, plus he’s had zero experience/ interest in the BDSM scene but scrap all that, they just go straight into pretty hardcore play at 0-100 speed without any consent at first and he keeps agreeing to it because ofc he’s into it and they do get better at communicating about consent, safe words and aftercare etc. when they start to really get into it but I don’t know what it is, something just seemed to be missing for me between the two during the first half of this audiobook.
But then after the scene at the bar when one lets loose, I really start to like him more as a person and I did understand before hand that it was all a facade for other people and there was more to his story, so I’m really glad it got a lot better from there plot wise.
The last few chapters had me absolutely terrified for both characters as too where it would go and also disgusted at the way his dad was treating his own son and after finally leaving a workplace of 12 years ran by a narcissist I’m so proud of both of them for standing up to that vile, evil psychopath. 👏🏼🥹 Such a great HEA and I love that North really dug deep and found out the real Mal underneath that hard exterior.
Their dynamic is so great and I especially love how North did not hesitate with what went down between him and Mal’s dad, Mal may be the controlling one but mess with his man and you better run 🥵🙌🏼🫡

Details about some scenes in the book, the very spicy ones.
it was lacing off depths in feelings and relationship, story line wasn't deep and sub voice sounded like he is some kind of cowboy or something, didn't suit.

Storytelling
Amazing read and listen. Enemies to lovers to a perfect couple. I loved how this was about them and how they faced everything they went through together.
