Summary

We are told God will punish the wicked; that sinful men will reap what they sow. We are told to scourge our souls with prayer and pain to become clean once again.

Well, here I am. Wicked and sinful. Desperate to become clean - even though it feels so good to be dirty.

But even I never expected what came next. Even I never expected my punishment to come so soon.

Midnight Mass is a novella and a sequel to Priest. It’s intended for mature audiences only.

Moving in so many ways

This was the best sequal I've ever read. Happily ever afters never really end where a chapter finishes and I thought the way Sierra Simone left Tyler and Poppy's story was beautiful and real. She writes so elegantly. Tyler's faith is moving and explained so expressively as is his love for Poppy. This had me crying real tears at the end. Tyler Bell is my new Romantic Hero! Jacob Morgan never disapoints, a fantastic performance that really brought this character to life.

Totally necessary!

Romance should novels should cover all aspects of life that effort how we love each other. Even if we always want them to finish or a HEA or at least a HFN. I
If all romances were just A meets B, someone feels insecure because no one talks about their feelings so there is which hiccup in the smooth running of their relationship, then all is revealed and it ends HEA then the romance genre (even the steamy ones) would be very dull.

This sequel is short but not sweet. It covers a very real subject that some will find hard. But it is totally necessary that some romance books cover it. And were better than in a novel with a heap of Roman Catholic guilt thrown in! But it doesn’t dwell on it, it is not the whole story. Because it reflects real life. And it ends with a HFN which is all any of us can ask for.
I loved Priest and think this novella is even better in sight into the characters and the challenges all romances face. Difficult subject tackled well by Sierra and shown from the man perspective which we don’t get often.

Narration from JM fabulous as always.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful

Wow, what a book! Hit a lot of emotional spots for me! Fantastically written, and one of the best sequel books I've ever read! Had me in tears at the end, as I too have had the same experience as Poppy and and Tyler. And Millie also had me crying. This is a book I will return to many times. Cannot recommend this enough but read Priest first. The author note hit many emotions 💗.

Brilliant

Totally loved this second installment of Priest. I think Priest is the best audiobook I've ever listened to and this book takes this story to another level. Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe once again really bring these characters to life. out of all the stories in this group I can't help but think these 2 stories really are the jewel in the crown. Well done to all of you. Absolutely breathtaking 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Wow!

What a great follow on from the priest story. Hard hitting parts to it but boy were the play scenes HOT! Thank you for squaring it all off! Narration was superb! Worth a credit

Unnecessary

I really enjoyed Priest and just felt that there was no point to this one. I did, however, like the author's notes and wish more author's would take heed!
