Summary
GIANNAI hate my dad’s boss. I’d never actually met Auburn Bouvier, but I despised him on principle. He was a cold, demanding dictator who made his employees miserable. When I moved to New York City, it was inevitable that I would run into the head of the Bouvier fashion empire while visiting my dad at his office, and when I did, the man was nothing like I expected.
He was worse.
Yet I somehow ended up on a date with the enigmatic Mister Bouvier. Sure, he was incredibly handsome with jet black hair, a perfect jawline, and a mouth that looked like it was spun from sugar and sin, but he was also arrogant, overbearing, and a complete jerk. Not to mention he was fifteen years older than me.
Worst date ever.
AUBURNI needed a date. I recently broke up with my long-time girlfriend—again—so I was not looking for anything serious. I simply needed a pretty lady on my arm for one evening.
Then I met my assistant’s daughter, Gianna, and couldn’t peel my eyes away from her.
Since I was accustomed to getting exactly what I wanted, I demanded that she accompany me to the gala. No one dared to say no to me, so here we were. Our age difference seemed to fade away the more I talked to Gianna. She was witty, intelligent, and the most gorgeous woman I’d ever seen.
Best date ever.

Love Without Numbers: Bouvier Family Saga Book 1
🎧🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧🎧
First things first, the audiobook performance on this story was outstanding! I haven’t read with my eyeballs the story, but I would still swear under oath that listening to this book is the best medium for maximum satisfaction of this book. #firghtme
Emma Wilder & JF Harding were absolute perfection in their roles, and their versatility narrating other characters was distinct and never had me guessing who was who while I sank deep into this story and got lost in it! 5 listening stars!!
GAH, I really like Jade Dollston’s style! It’s rare that I fall head over heart for an author after just one book, but I feel it, and I’m excited about it! I’ve always said that how a story makes you feel is one of the most important aspects of a story. If you don’t feel it, how are to believe it? How are you to understand it? How are you to root for the HEA? I felt this story from the beginning. I felt the attraction and the chemistry. I felt the romance of it all and it was an unbelievable delight! The story has a sexual drive to it but even thought that drive is plentiful, the romance and growth was center stage. For me, the age-gap was done perfectly, the timing and growth was perfect, and the storyline unfolded before my very eyes (ears) flawlessly. I wanted to experience Gianna & Auburn for a lot longer than I did and 11 hours is not a short period of time! <<< that should tell you something right there :)
#Sidebar: I still maintain that everyone that did not put this author on my radar before Home Cooked Books so generously provided me with this ALC, is fired!!
There were a few aspects of the story that I felt were a little underdeveloped and just dropped-in, and maybe some other things were over-used, LOL but seriously, really loud 👏🏻👏🏻round of applause👏🏻👏🏻 all around! 4.5 story stars!!

Fantastic audio you can listen over and over again
Audio Review.
Narrated By: JF Harding and Emma Wilder.
These two were absolutely brilliant. JF Harding really gave life to Auburn's character. The roughness and then growly, sultry voice was just perfect. He really gave me the butterflies throughout the story.
Emma gave Gianna the softness and the fireceness of her character.
This is one of the audios that you can listen to over and over again. Trust me that is what I will be doing.
Auburn was Gianna's dad's grumpy boss that she detested before meeting him. On first meeting he was rude and she put him in his place. That shocked him as a billionaire, no one spoke to him like that. For Auburn it literally was love at first sight he just didn't know it.
Their relationship was sweet, passionate, warmth and literally perfection.
Plenty of drama with his money hungry ex and his cold hearted mother.
I just loved how the story flowed and how both of these narrators sucked you into their world.
Jade has done and immense job regarding this audio book.
I can't recommend it enough to you. Get. It. Now. I promise, it will be worth it. I'm going back to daddy Bouvier. The spice was top-notch and lots of it.

Fun characters / Amazing narration
Audiobook review: narrated by Emma Wilder and JF Harding
4 stars for story / 5 stars for performance
This is such a good book featuring a semi-forbidden relationship as her dad is his PA. I do love when we have an MMC who is “a domineering bossy a$$ man” to everyone but her. The relationship progression makes sense and I adored how he seemed to have an instant connection and looked for ways to be around her. Great story amplified by an amazing audio performance.
This is meant to be complimentary only but, Emma Wilder is so talented, she could have carried this by herself and it would have been amazing! The way she can vocalize so many different characters and make it seem so natural is mesmerizing. I can only imagine the work that goes into this and I, for one, appreciate it so much. Having the duel narration with JF Harding was a bonus! He plays up the possessive male main character so well that Auburn’s chapters were such a treat to listen to.

What a great listen!
I love finding new authors and this book by Jade Dollston has now whet my appetite for more! Gianna is visiting her father at work when mistaken for a model, and asked to be his boss, Auburn's escort to an event. And the fun begins. But what happens when their secret is found out? This age gap, taboo romance is filled with witty banter, funny scenes, secret meetings and oh the spice! I fell in love with these two. Auburn is quite the man. At first a bit overpowering, his romantic side comes through and is impossible not to fall for. Gianna is sweet and funny, but holds a spunkiness in private that makes her so real. I loved this story, it flies by with their building relationship. It's filled with beautiful clothes and wonderful dates, secret rendezvous, and family. I enjoyed this and look forward to more.
Emma Wilder and JF Harding are our storytellers and these two are amazing together. Wilder is the spunky Gianna, figuring out what she wants and if she wants it. Harding is the alpha male, telling her at times what she wants, but knows what he does. It's a fabulous pairing and spectacular listen.

5 Stars!
Love Without Numbers is book 1 in The Bouvier Family Saga Series. At the beginning of the book, we meet Gianna. She didn’t grow up living with her dad – Tony – after her parents divorced when she was young. Although, she and her dad always kept a great relationship. Now newly graduated, after receiving her grandmum’s New York apartment in her Will, she decides to move to New York from Texas for a fresh start (we learn she has suffered some heartbreak in Texas, although we don’t get much detail into this heartbreak at the beginning of the story). Not only will this be a fresh start for her career wise, she also sees this as a great opportunity to finally have her dad around and further build and strengthen that relationship. Upon landing in New York, she goes to visit her dad. There she meets her dad’s boss, Auburn Bouvier, the billionaire CEO of a big fashion company. Auburn Bouvier is the dominant, aloof boss who everyone at the company seems to somewhat dislike and are scared off. After a misunderstanding, Gianna ends up accompanying Auburn for an event and things develop from there.
I really loved this book! The progression of the relationship was soo nice and natural. After recently reading an age-gap romance that I didn’t like as much, it was such a relief to see an age-gap romance that felt normal. In fact, I really felt the connection between Gianna and Auburn. Although there is a 15-year age-gap, they felt like the had many things in common, and I felt like I was witnessing a relationship where they were both equals in maturity level. I’ve come to the conclusion that as I’m not normally an age-gap girlie, evidence of what makes a good age-gap for me is if I don’t notice that they have an age-gap. For example, they are both on the same/similar maturity level, if it doesn’t seem cringy etc. This book felt like that…and more…so it was perfect in that regard! I should also add that given they recently just met, Auburn and Gianna’s relationship development didn’t feel forced (like I said, natural 🥰).
Other things I liked about this book included the father/daughter relationship between Gianna and Tony. I loved seeing them reconnect. Also, I loved how confident Gianna was. I also really loved seeing all of Auburn’s personality and the fun and banter he provided; although from the outside, he seemed aloof and uncaring, when we got to know him more, we saw how caring, kind, and fun he really was. Without this overshadowing his dominant, and confident personality. This book also has some really spicy scenes. It was 🔥🥵 !!
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and had fun reading it. Once I began reading, I couldn’t put my kindle down and I read it all in one sitting! Now I’m really looking forward to continuing in the series, the little preview we saw of Monty has me anticipating his book!
I listened to this on audio and followed along with the eBook on my Kindle. The audiobook was narrated by Emma Wilder and J. F. Harding. Both Wilder and Harding perfectly captured Auburn and Gianna. Harding was amazing at portraying the attractive, dominant, and confident boss that was Auburn Bouvier. Whilst Wilder was excellent at showing Gia’s personality; from her confidence, the outspokenness, and all the sass. Overall, they both were able to bring the characters and the story to life.

I loved it!
This was my first Jade Dollston's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in The Bouvier Family Saga. Gianna/Gia and Auburn’s story is fun, passionate, emotional, and heartwarming. Gia is sassy, sunshine, and smart. Auburn is enigmatic, handsome, dominant, and protective. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. Their chemistry is sizzling hot. I liked the instant attraction, and the banter. The supporting characters are interesting. The kids are adorable. This is a great steamy age gap romance. J.F. Harding and Emma Wilder did an excellent job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Love Without Influence, the next book in the series.

hot and spicy
I really enjoyed this story, I loved the direction it went in, at first I thought Auburn was going to be the character we hated but I actually liked him, his dominance and sexiness just oozed thought the audiobook. Gia was likeable from the start and I loved her sassiness and take no bs attitude. I loved the narrators their voices were perfect for this story and it complemented it so well. The spice scenes were great, somehow hit differently when narrated 😂 🥵 Overall, this being the first novel I've listened to I really enjoyed it. I'd definitely be on the look out for her other books.
