Summary
He's a monster wrapped in opulence and style...and he's decided that I'm his.
Diego Santos is a ruthless crime boss from Los Angeles, a dangerous man who came here to grow his mafia empire. But I didn't know any of that when I threw tequila in the arrogant bastard's face...or when he belted my bare ass and then made me scream as I came for him.
I've met plenty of assholes who thought they could make me theirs, but this one is different.
He doesn't just expect to find me wet and ready for him whenever he tears off my clothes.
He knows I will be.
Publisher's Note: Lord of Vengeance is the second book in the Lords of Corruption series, but can be read as a standalone. It includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

What an amazing book
This book is so addicting, I love how the narrators bring these characters alive. You get a feel of what they are and they hook you from the very beginning.

vengeance
Amazing dual narration from Thomas Locklear and Scarlet Love, who bring the heat, action, drama to your ears. Perfect
While Diego was crossing the street there's gunfire. With out thought he protects a young woman Sabrina, telling her "go and do something good with her life". Twenty years later they meet in Alaska where Sabrina is the Sheriff. She takes no takes her job seriously. It doesn’t matter what may arise she doesn’t let anyone anything stand in her way. When they realise how they know each other, it is not a just murders they have to fight, but the chemistry between them. Great twist and turns with action, betrayal, drama, violence and some very hot scenes.

Dark and thrilling romance!
A good cop and a bad guy fall for each other. This couple was really meant to be, and even at her most vulnerable she kept her integrity. It was a fine line between finding each other and losing the battle. It was phenomenal. I enjoyed every second of drama. The voices were on spot all the time.

Mafia action!
Opposites attract is one of my favorite tropes. Add in hot mafia men and I'm sold! I read this as a standalone and didn't feel like I missed anything by skipping book 1 but there's an overarching mystery that while not incredibly pertinent to the main couple's story isn't resolved in this book. I definitely want to continue reading the series. I thought both narrators did a great job. Thomas Locklear is a favorite narrator so I expected that from him but Scarlet Love is new to me. Would definitely search her out again too.
