Summary
Welcome to the carnal world of...His Secret
Young and innocent, Julia Ellis has no idea what awaits her at the manor, where she is to become the nanny for Mr. Jonas Fairbanks, a ruthless, yet devastatingly handsome entrepreneur. Julia's only plan is to earn enough money to fund her studies of French cuisine in Paris.
Julia falls in love with little Sidney, the 10-year-old daughter of Jonas, but can't help noticing the peculiar way the towns people talk of the little girl. An omen. The devil's spawn.
Sidney is not the only young girl who will be groomed at the home of Mr. Fairbanks. What was taught as sinful, now, clouds her moral judgment of right and wrong. Julia fights with her innocence, giving into lust and a world all new to her. She loses all control, when she can no longer deny her attraction to Jonas. But no matter how much she feels love for this man, hidden deep in the house, tell a different story of his past...and what he's capable of.

A secret 5 star story
This is my first story by Gina Jones . This story has lots of twits and turns . It’s full of mystery and will have you sitting at the edge of your seat , wondering what’s next .
This is book 1 in the series. . Be prepared for a great listen
Hero is Jonas. Heroine is Julia .
Julia is a very religious lady , who is living with a religious couple when her life changes .
Julia is hired to look after a shy little girl. The girl has no friends and Julia is trying to interact with Sidney and draw her out . Julia has a hard time once Sidney starts to open up because Sydney has mood swings .
Julia and Jonas have an attraction to each other that was felt right away . BUT Jonas has a secret. Won’t tell you .
Grab book 2 to find out this does end in a clif hanger
Tracy Marks was great . She played all the characters great. She showed the emotions of the characters . Her voice is strong clear and steady

Great
I enjoyed this book immensely. Julia was such a loving soul. She was full of love and passion for even the smallest things in life. She was so honest and pure, untouched by the evilness of the human nature. The love she surrounded Sydney with was endless. I loved the story and all the suspense.
Tracy Marks did an awesome job with this narration. I loved the voices and accents she used for the characters. Her voice was perfect for Julia.

3.5 Still Have Questions Stars
I really wanted to love this story, but I think I ended up with more questions than answers, and I’m not sure that I am invested in the story enough to carry on with the series.
We first meet the MC Julia living with a very religious family, and also being very religious herself, up to the point where the first meeting with the Jonah was with her on her knees on a public boardwalk praying with her hands in the air praying out loud to God.
This would be fine, except for the fact that this religious aspect of Juliette's life sort of falls away throughout the book, does Instalove make you loose your religious beliefs?
The child (Sidney) that she goes to look after seems to range from little girl, to moody teenager.
She is portrayed as this awful child and called the Devils Spawn from other parents, and this is never really explained why, i'm assuming that it may be explained in book 2 ?
Jonas i did not like, Julia was a sweet little virgin, so being thrown into this situation and having Jonas seemingly emotionally abuse her felt a bit icky.
Narration was expertly done and i'm sure that i will get to read book 2 sometime in the future, but i won't rush out to get it just yet.

His Secret
This book was equal parts suspense, twisted secrets, and Sexy Intrigue. My feelings about the story kind of yo-yo'd until the end. An amazing listen, the performance by Tracy Marks gave the characters so much more depth, can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Wowza, what a way to suck you in!!
Gina certainly does a number on you in this one. While I am not a fan of cliffhangers and often become a bit irritated that I am stuck in limbo until I get going on the next book in a series, this one did not disappoint.
The opportunity that Julia has to become the Nanny for Jonus Fairbanks could be the one she is looking for to get her moving toward her dream of going to Paris. Julia falls in love with Sidney, age 10, and things certainly heat up in a hurry with Jonus.
There are twists and turns every which way in this story and Gina has done a great job of weaving an intricate tale of "what things seem may not be what they are." There is passion, romance, intrigue and mystery abound, not to mention the curious way the townspeople think and act toward little Sydney!
Tracy Marks did a fabulous job of narrating this tale and pulling the listener in! Well done!
I am looking forward to the next book in the series Her Secret!

His Secret!!! Wow, just wow!
OMG.. I finished this book in one night... I have only slept for two hours. I loved Tracy Marks as the narrator, she really brought the story to life for me. This is not my typical genre, but boy am I glad I gave it a try. Whoa.. I can't wait to start the next one. the suspense is killing me. The book is really well written and the characters are not one dimensional. It's definitely worth a try.

interesting book
There was so much I enjoyed about this book. I couldn't give it a 5/5 because there were things that just didn't add up for me. I liked the characters for the most part. What I didn't get was how Julia could go from being uber religious to living a life of "sin". How she could go so far outside of her convictions the way she did and only feel a little guilty for a short second. I understand falling in love and experiencing it for the first time and how it can change your life, however I just don't see it changing you so much you walk away from everything you believe. I thought Jonas was a interesting character. I didn't like him so much in the beginning because he was so detached from his daughter. The other reason I couldn't give this book a 5/5 across the board is because I could see the twist at the end of the story coming from a mile away. It didn't really take away from the story itself but I like the mystery to be a little more mysterious. The cliffhanger at the end does make me want to read more even though I saw it coming. I enjoyed the narrator. She has a pleasant and easy voice to listen to. I could listen to her read books all day. I look forward to starting the next book in the series.

His Secret
Man what a great book! I was constantly trying to figure out the secret through the whole thing and although I thought what the secret was towards the end I was glad to see how it came out at the end of the book and the cliffhanger! Off to listen to the next!
