About this listen
When life gives you blood, make mayhem.
Grim. Assassin. Leather-clad sex god. Has the most unusual taste in men.
Misha. Mutilated. Afraid. Will never trust again.
Grim is a bloodthirsty killer, and he owns it. Gay in a world of outlaw bikers, he firmly stands his ground if anyone dares to cross him. He takes pleasure in showing homophobes their place and fucking his way through a life of carnage.
But there is a part of him always aching for something he cannot get. When by chance he saves the most perfect guy he’s ever met, he is not about to let him go. Even if it means he needs to smother his broken bird.
When a masked, bloodstained man rescues Misha from captivity, he doesn’t know if he should thank the menacing stranger or stab him and run. Grim is not the kind of man who takes no for an answer, and Misha might now be in more danger than when he was trapped as a sex slave.
Misha cannot deny though that Grim is as alluring as he is frightening, and once Misha realizes what power his body holds over Grim, he understands that taming the beast of a man could be within his reach.
But any possibility of a future together is like a house of cards when Zero, the sadistic crime lord who destroyed Misha’s life, sets out to get him back.
Will the ruthless biker assassin at Misha’s side be enough to conquer the monsters from his past?
This stand-alone novel is approximately 110,000 words.

Fantastically dark!
Buckle up and put your grown up pants on, this book is not for the faint hearted. If you’re a sensitive soul, read and be aware of the Warning.
I loved this book, I read it before I listened and the narration turned it into a solid five star for me. It’s dark and violent but funny at times. Grim is one of my favourite Psycos ever!
Wyatt Baker is a great narrator and bought these characters to life in a proper creepy way! I’d advise stepping out of your comfort zone and giving this a try....you won’t be sorry.

Bloody Fantastic!
This is book 8 in the Sex and Mayhem series and can be listened to as a standalone as well.
Grim and Misha are from different worlds and opposites in every way but when they come together they are two missing pieces who become a whole.
The characters were raw, real and relatable.
The storyline was explicit, engaging and gritty.
Wyatt Baker performs a commendable audio delivery and narration.
This was an enjoyable listen overall.

Different
Dark, brutal and bloody. A different love story. I liked the characters. Especially from Grim.

Gritty, Dark, and Twisted
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and narration. If you have read or listened to other books in this series, some of the more memorable characters make an appearance. It is a book not for the squeamish and definitely not light and fluffy. The narration by Baker gives these characters a raw and gritty performance-very memorable and engaging.

An absolutely wild ride - not for the squeamish!
I’ve read a couple of books recently about a cannibal who helps the police out solving murders in exchange for fresh bodies - I found this book more unsettling than those! Grim, a murderous biker with a fetish for amputees rescues Misha, a young Russian guy who has had both legs removed during torture. I take my hat off to the authors, they really committed to the incongruous romance as well as the squeamish detail. This was not my cup of tea so I won’t seek out further books by them, but the strangely sympathetic characters were well-formed and the story utterly gripping. 🎧 Wyatt Baker’s character voices, including Misha’s Russian accent, and his narrative performance were impressive.

Grim...
Grim, the nomad biker of the Coffin Nails MC has rescued a Russian boy. He was aged like a bird, abuse by his captor and sold on the internet. He’s maimed and Grim has a thing for them. It’s a dark and very gritty theme but also with lots of care and love from a man that loves the smell of blood. Misha is broken and has not known love all his life. I can not imagine what pain he has gone through. The trust will have to be built with time and showing him he can have a better life. I just loved Grim for that and his fierce protectiveness.
Great narration too. Very deep and masculine and yet soft when needed.

Misha and Grim, what a story.
Grim a killer sex god, a nomad who worked with the Coffins Nails MC
Misha, a Russian captive, mutilated, abused and a sex slave. Shy about his body.
This book is as dark or darker as the rest. There are killings, torture, mutilation and much more.
Still a great series. I have been listening to them out of order, and it doesn't actually spoil the series.
Narration from Wyatt baker was smooth and easy to listen to, although like usual, I did speed it up slightly to 1.40

My favourite of these authours
This is one of my favourite books, which I have read many times, so when it came to Audible I knew I had to have it, it's dark gritty and so good, Grim just ticked all my boxes, protector of Misha, he also shows him how to be himself. What Baker has once again shown his take on this book with his deep voice. Really outstanding. Oh if you enjoy these ladies books this is a must have.

as good as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Oh wow! Definitely good, definitely dark!
In trying to broaden my horizons, I decided to try my first dark story. It's quite good :)
Although this is part of a series, (and I haven't read/listened to any of the other stories), this is can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Grim is a not a psychopath to be trifled with, except if you're Mischa. Both men were made for each other and woe to anyone who stands in the way of them stying together! The story is intense with violence, kink, dark humour, but has love and passion. It is really not a pretty romance (the warnings are not for fun), but is very good.
Wyatt Baker did a really great job with the 2 MC's voices - Grim was sounded very growly (and sexy); Mischa sounded Russian. He really captured the dark tone of the story very well.
