About this listen
When the stern, handsome Irishman who has become her online daddy dom moves to New York to start a new job, Lacey Porter is shocked to discover that not only has he been hired by the company where she works, he will actually be her boss.
Though the idea of being taken over her strict daddy's knee for a bare bottom spanking when she's been naughty leaves Lacey's panties soaked, the thought of such a thing finally happening in real life is as terrifying as it is exciting.
Liam O'Connell wastes no time in making it clear to Lacey that he is in charge now, and when she fakes an illness to stay home for the day she soon finds herself blushing crimson as her temperature is taken in the most embarrassing manner possible. Once the reading confirms her deception she learns the hard way that little girls who lie to Daddy get their bottoms punished inside and out, but when she is sent to work sore and plugged Lacey's arousal is undeniable.
Over the coming days, Liam sets about teaching Lacey what it means to belong to a firm but loving daddy, and being held in his arms after he has claimed her properly is better than she ever dreamed. But when a rival grows jealous of their romance, will her scheming ruin Liam's career?

Hot hot hot
I really enjoyed this book. There wasn’t too much little themed in it, just enough to be cute. Good storyline, excellent characters. Jack has a great Irish accent.

Decent
Lacey and Liam have been seeing each other for two years. Liam is Lacey’s dominant. They have been long distance until Liam gets a promotion and winds up working in the same place as Lacey. Things get steamy quickly. Lacey is terrified of what his being there will change for them. She’s terrified of not being good enough for him. This story was okay. It wasn’t really my thing. I was kind of curious because I’d seen people talking about it constantly on my social media feed. That being said, I don’t think it’s a bad book. It’s just not a book for me. I’m sure that there are plenty of readers who will find this book amazing. And I’m very happy for them. I can say that I managed to get through this book very quickly. I had no real connection with the characters at all. I somewhat related to Lacey because people made snide remarks about her weight. It’s like if people don’t meet society’s standard of beauty, they are nothing. That’s just how it goes. But I digress. I had no connection with the characters, and I didn’t really feel any development in any of them. That could be because of my personal preferences though. The narrator was great, but he just didn’t fit this book. I feel like this book would have been told better with a female and male duo. I could even recommend some narrators for the job. I also feel like if Liam was Irish, he should have given Liam a more Irish accent. As I said though, he isn’t a bad narrator. I just don’t feel he fits this particular book. This was a decent book. It’s a refreshingly short read and isn’t all that horrible. I can’t say it was my favorite book. I will also not be rereading it at all. But it was a decent book. For those of you who like the lifestyle and more erotic stories, have at it. I fully recommend the story to you. I will say this. I did enjoy the cover very much. It is very attention-grabbing.

Daddy Dom Office Romance
Her Bossy Daddy By Adaline Raine is a daddy dom novel that I listened to on audio narrated by Jack Calihan.
This is the first book by Adaline that I have read/listened to and it definitely won’t be my last. This book has a spin of an office romance and a daddy dom relationship. Adaline does a great job pulling you into the story. I just had to know how it was going to end.
Jack did an amazing job narrating. I really enjoyed the different voices he used for each character. But my favorite was definitely his Irish accent for Liam. I look forward to his finding other projects that he has worked on.

I totally liked the narrator's voice
I really enjoyed this though I thought Lacey was a bit bratty at times. Liam's patience with Lacey was quite endearing.

Irish dom anyone?
I enjoyed this book. There were some parts that go jumbled up but it recovered. I am a huge fan of a foreign accent and Jack did a great job. Liam makes no mistake trying to get to the bottom of why Lacey keeps pushing him. Once Lacey deals with her own insecurities all is good again.

Wasn't my story
I must say this story was too juvenile and silly for my liking and I'm not talking about age play here. Her Bossy Daddy wasn't my first Daddy dom book but I consider this in the plus column. Had it been my first experience with the genre. it would have been the last too. This book wasn't a daddy/little story, nor it was an S/M story, nor a power exchange. It was somehow all mixed together but not in a good way. It seemed like the author herself couldn't decide wich direction to go. It'd have been better to decide on one and stick with it instead of dabbing into all kind of kink making the relationship dynamics, thus the whole story, a mess. Not much was being said about the rules they agreed to navigate along, some situations were confusing even for the reader. Even though Liam was a likeable character I didn't consider him a good dom. I found Lacey's character irritating, her behaviour oftentimes bordering on clinical. Nothing about their background was revealed which could have helped understanding either Lacey's or Liam's character better.
Jack Calihan did a decent job with the narration. His voice and Irish accent was spot on.
I say this. It was definitely a good choice to go with only a male narrator.

Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession
The beginning started out a little confusing, but once you get into the story it falls into place. With an internet romance turned into a office place drama and a Daddy/little storyline relationship.
Look forward to listening to more of Adeline Raines books.
Jack Calihan has a great voice and interesting Irish accent.

Daddy comes to town
This book was hard to get into. The story was very slow and didn't hold my interest. I kept listening and hoping it would get better. This maybe isn't a story for me but for you. This couple have an internet relationship. It changes when he gets a job in the same firm and city as her.
Jack is a great narrator. It is what kept me going.

Good narration story ok
Loved the narrator and how he did the Irish accents!! I found the main female character very frustrating. would have liked more "little play".
Overall an ok book properly won't listen to it again but I would like more book read by the narrator.
