This story took me awhile to get into. The beginning was slow and I was not a fan of Iris when it began, she seemed whiny and kind of flat but as the story progressed she began to show her back bone and I definitely began to cheer for her and her guys. This book has quite a few triggers so read the warning before diving in if you have things that can bother you but if you're up for it give it a go just don't quit after the first few chapters, its worth the wait.

I loved the gripping storyline, exciting twists and turns, and the complex characters. Throw in some heat, danger, and darkness and I was hooked!

Sara and Rachel did a great job pulling me into the story. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Iris, Silas, Gabriel, and Baron.

Allie did a great job on the narration. I listened to the book at 1.9 speed and it sound great. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romance, reverse harem romances, assassins romance, mafia romance, or romantic suspense.

Sara has written an absolutely fantastic book here. With characters that have so many flaws it makes the storyline that much more intriguing. A great performance from Allie she really does help put the characters personalities in perspective.
