About this listen
From Amazon top 40 best-selling author Giana Darling comes the highly anticipated conclusion to The Enslaved Duet, a dark love story about a runaway bride and the ruthless husband who is determined to win her back by any means necessary….
It was the worst day of my life.
I know most people say that about something obviously horrific—a first heartbreak, the discovery of a fatal illness, or the funeral of a loved one—but my situation was a little different.
Not only was it my wedding day, but it was also the day I chose to die.
Two men.
The first, my master, my captor, and my impossible love.
The other, his brother, a mafioso I was meant to ensnare and ruin.
If I had any hope of living a normal life reunited with my family, I had to make a choice.
End my old life as I knew it and start fresh, or take down the monsters that hunted me and haunted my master.
In the end, the decision was never really mine to make. Because Alexander Davenport would come to claim me even in death.
** The Enslaved Duet is a stand-alone dark romance duet. Enthralled must be listened to before Enamoured.**

An excellent conclusion!
As with the first book of this duet, this is dark, depraved, intense, twisted, action-packed, suspenseful, dramatic, gripping, raw, emotional, steamy and a great conclusion to an excellent duet!

A rollercoaster
Finally we get to see what happens to Cosima and Alexander after that dramatic ending of book One Enthralled.
Now husband and Wife Cosima and Alexander can't enjoy being married to eachother, they are torn apart as Cosima has to leave.
Going back to England to be under Alexander's fathers rule..But Cosima has no choice as Alexander's life is threatened..But it is all futil because an explosion has Cosima believing that Alexander and brother Dante are dead.
Honestly the back and forth this couple do in this book is frustrating at times..Because in order to keep Cosima Safe Alexander must stay away from her..Because THE ORDER wants retribution for Alexander breaking the rules and marrying a slave.
He has to pretend not to love her and pretend to not care..But Alexander has his ways of keeping a watch on Cosima without anyone knowing.
It is 3 years until they meet again and even though they pretend to hate eachother it is evident that Cosima still belongs to Alexander.
But we discover in this book that Cosima has not been faithful to Alexander and she keeps running away from him..They were both keeping secrets and I just wanted them to be honest with eachother and tell one another everything.
At last though the reasons for eachothers actions comes to light and they join forces to take down the secret society that is THE ORDER..But in order to do so she has to become a slave once more to someone else..
This book is one big rollercoaster and there is so much going on.
Dante plays a bigger role in this book...Salvatori also...Noel is just as insane and evil as ever...The ANGST IS STRONG !
There are little nuggets of info about Cosima's sisters stories too..
The one thing that was consistant though is the LOVE that Cosima and Alexander shared was solid, because no matter the distance between them, they always came back to eachother and the love never waned.
I LOVED the ending to their story it was so satisfying.
The narration was EXCELLENT as always Rupert Channing and Scarlett Day are Fantastic voicing all the characters in this story. They really make them come alive and enjoyed listening to them immensely.
Giana Darling just writes incredible books her imagination is wonderful she knows how to suck you in and keep you intrigued and entertained until the end.
A Phenomenal ending to a fabulous book.
